Great down-home little diner! They really support veterans, so the friendly staff made me feel very welcome from the beginning.... I've tried all the so-called best burgers in Knoxville, but The Chow Hall might just have the best burger in town, and they costless than the others! This little place sure packs a large punch for quality and service! My brother in law, who passed away last year, lived right... beside here and would eat often there. When he called they had his number programmed so the knew it was him. They knew exactlywhat he wanted, so basically when he called he told them what time he would be thru to pick it up. He turned us onto chow hallawhile back and we love it. I?d rather spend my money to a place that supports veterans, active, and all who fight for ourcountry than anywhere else. Extremely welcoming environment. Really good food. Had the big smokey burger and it was BIG. onion rings and chili cheese fries... were really well done. Dining area is small but warm. Would definitely recommend. Read more
I heard about this place a while back and finally tried it out today. I should have tried it sooner , the food is great and the... atmosphere is fantastic! They are also big supporters of military as you will see when you enter, lots of memorabilia on thewalls and pictures of veterans. Overall a great place to dine if you love good food and friendly service. I'm sad I can't givethem more than 5 stars because they deserve more! Read more
It's a small mom and pop diner (local). I came here for a meal and left full and satisfied. I had the grilled salad with chicken... but it was too much for me so I brought a doggy bag home, lol... The people working here made me feel welcomed. Will be comingback. Read more
What a discovery we made when we found this place last month not far from our house! The service in this place sets it apart... from 99% of restaurants in Knoxville. It's like going to a family member's house when you enter this place because they are sowelcoming. The military decor, memorabilia, and pictures are a great honor to all the branches of service. They brought outcoloring books for our kids and then hung the finished coloring sheet up on their fridge in the kitchen. Our baby was getting alittle restless as we were finishing our meal and both times we were there workers would carry her around the dining room andengage her while we finished our meal. And last but not least the food was great. They even brought treats out to our kids afterthey finished their meal. If you are anywhere close to Knoxville and even if you have to go out of your way, you need to visitthis place for a meal. Read more
