We went first thing in the morning. The staff was transitioning over to a handheld ordering system that you could see they... hadn't had much experience with, they complained loudly to one another about how they were unprepared and undertrained on them(they said they had one training session in the break room before bringing them out to the floor). Thankfully there wasn't await and food arrived quickly. Overall not a bad time, wishing the staff the best of luck at conquering the new devices and willreturn. Read more
We just had a delicious breakfast at Flapjacks as we were driving through. There was a short wait. They told us 20 minutes but... it was more like 5. Our server, Laura W, was so friendly and efficient. We really appreciate that. ???? I ordered pecanpancakes and my husband ordered corned beef skillet. The food was tasty and hot. ???? If we are ever driving through again, wewould definitely stop here to eat. It was a great experience! ???? We are visiting from Ohio and this was the perfect place to eat breakfast. Our server Hannah was amazing and so kind. She even... replaced a dish that was ruined because someone at our table put coffee on their pancakes instead of syrup. The little thingslike that make a huge difference and make the place worth coming back to. The food and atmosphere great, but Hannah is thereason we will be back to eat here in the future. They couldn't care less about covid protocols, don't require masks and sit people within inches of each other. The food was... terrible and over priced, and that's being kind. The hashbrowns in the chicken and hashbrown skillet were freezer burned, theycharge you $10 for two eggs and two pieces of bacon, but hey, at least the kids pancakes come with a drink. The only positiveabout this place is that the staff were very friendly, but thats not enough for me to ever come back to this franchise. Saveyourself some agony, and bad food, and just go to IHOP.
