Would not recommend at all. Ordered Mac and cheese dishes, one with jerk chicken and one with pork. Served Luke warm, even after... sending it back the first time. Jerk chicken was ground to a powder. The table next to us sent a different dish back to thekitchen. So Bad night for food there. When you pay 20 something $ for Mac and cheese you are kind of expecting a cheesy dishlike your mom's, plus you are in wi. Not the case at all. And that was one of their highly recommended food items. Read more

You cannot go wrong by stopping here for lunch or dinner! The cheese curds, beer cheese soup, and nachos are amazing! I'm sad... that the menu isn't as large of a selection as it used to be. The meatloaf, which is no longer offered, was one of my favorites!Save room for dessert! You won't be disappointed. Read more

Went to the Horse and plow after a long day and it was well worth trying if you ask me. The building itself is very neat, a true... brick and mortar establishment that is very clean, roomy, and atmospheric as all heck! Service was nice, courteous and quick aswell. Food was good! Cheese curds, cheese and beef soup and Mac and cheese were all pretty tasty. It ain't the best place I'vebeen to but u liked horse and plow none the less and would recommend it to anyone looking for a neat bar and restaurant sort ofestablishment! Pictures are of the inside of the building, menu, and food I got! Read more

Came in for lunch not sure what to get but not incredibly hungry. The beer cheese soup is the best I've ever had. We usually... never have room for desert so we decided in the strawberry jalapeño cheesecake and we weren't disappointed. Great flavors. Thehorse and plow is fancy but feel free to dress casual. I came in my swim suit and t shirt. Great experience Read more

Standard Pub Fare. Full list of all things Wisconsin type foods on the menu and that is a good thing. It is fine for families... if you take a booth and great for beers and grub with your golfing buddies. Not a great couples choice unless you just wantsomething straightforward with no dress code. Service is great (calling out Jess) - and the food is tasty if uninspired. IMHO- it is doing exactly what it was designed for and nothing more or less - which is why you should give it a go. Honestly THE best cheese curds I've had in my life! Salmon was good, but salad was very plain. Burger was mediocre, but fries... were really good! Ice cream dessert cup was sadly not as great as it looked. Ice cream was pretty flavorless - icy, not creamy.Great atmosphere and service. Read more

My wife and I came in on our first evening of our honeymoon after our spa treatments. The spa called over and let them know that... it was our honeymoon and they came over with complimentary glasses of champagne!! A thoughtful and amazing touch and really nicestart! We grabbed other drinks as well; she a Moscow Mule and I had the Kohler Dark Chocolate Brandy Old Fashioned. The oldfashioned was amazing, something I'd never tasted before, so great! My wife had the Great Lakes Perch Fry, which was flaky, light, and perfectly fried. I had the Pork Schnitzel with the Spátzle, which was perfectly prepared. Really good quality foreverything and a great price! Read more

The service, cocktails, and food were all wonderful. I loved the cheese curds, but I wouldn't recommend ordering the side of... fruit as it tasted like it was thawed from frozen. Everything else was fantastic though and we really enjoyed our meal. Portionsare generous and I loved the dark chocolate brandy old fashioned. Read more
