Great place to eat, breakfast anytime, nice servings and friendly waitresses. Store is always stocked in seasonal decorations... and if you don't see something your looking for the staff is more than helpful trying to find it! The dining in this Cracker Barrel is so nice. We frequently go and really enjoy the food and the service. Chelsea is a superb... server, happy and so personable. We're from the south and she provides service that is so much like the ideal southernhospitality we know and love so much. Ricky is a super great server as well. Great attention to detail and friendly - he'sgreat. There is one more, but I can't remember her name. She was so great. Made us feel like we were right at home for dinner. While the food and the price receive a 5 star rating, the service gets a 1. Simple order nothing fancy, food was brought and... before I could ask for condiments the waiter left. Had to flag down someone else who brought 1/2 of my request...(ketchup, honeyand bbq sauce). Flagged down another server who said she would tell my server. When he didn't come I asked for the manager whosent my server over. I understand that they are always busy, Back home (Alabama) we would eat Cracker Barrel 2x a week withoutissues, however, I doubt that I will return to this one. It has been a long time since I been to Cracker Barrel. Took kids on a road trip on this spring break. We then decided to stop... here. Well let's just say, everyone should visit one, once in their life time. Not only do you get some great food, you get tosee a fun shop. The shop is full of souvenirs, to gifts, handmade quilts and so much more!! My kids have never been to one soit was time. Not to mention the rocking chairs that are outside. It gives it a relaxing environment to sit outside and relax afew. Hell, do an hour as no one will bother you. Lol Food is really good. I got the chicken fried chicken. The chicken had somuch flavor and crisp to it. This was close to homemade cooking as you can get while eating out. And if I say that, it's reallya big deal. I cook at home often and eating out isn't always my favorite. But I love to explore restaurants for the best foodspossible. I would definitely visit again. Customer service is great as well. You have people available in the store for anyquestions. You also have waiters/waitresses that are on top of everything. We visit here frequently on our travels to visit family so we are fairly familiar with all menu items. Today, traveling on a... Sunday, we tried the Pot Roast special for the first time. Menu seems smaller, foods not same quality it used to be. Still an ok spot to eat just nothing special.
This is total comfort food! Love the blackened catfish, also the chicken and dumplings. I could go on and on. My husband's... favorite is the pork chops. Always have great service, enjoy the shopping center. Love it! I am editing this review becauseMickie has finally graduated to going to eat at restaurants with us! Hopefully his picture has been posted. The staff was verypleasant about him there. I must say that we have taken a lot of time to train him to behave and know our behaviors. The food came out quick. Which would be ok until you found out it was cold and dry. We went before 445 p.m. and they were out of... bone in chicken which was the reason we went. The hash brown casserole was dry. My husband doesn't use salt but in this meal heused it 3 times. Cracker barrel was on our don't go to list but we tried again. After this visit we won't ever try again. Read more
