Small place heaped up with shelfs and and refrigerators on the sides. Everything, you can find in traditional italian deli -... cheese, meat, pasta, pasta sauces, italian cookies etc. Besides that, the deli selling meat cuts and sandwiches. The two mostimportant corners - at the front (pay counter) and another on the back - sandwichemaker counter. There is not really traditionalNYC sandwiches but with local substation. For example, there is not meatball sandwiches but brisket sandwich. The sandwichesvery good. Wouldn?t say the best, but apparently you wont find something better around. Apparently, worth to visit. Just try toavoid desserts - tiramisu is cinnamoned soggy ball with chocolate powder on top. Read more
Wow authentic Italian market with fresh cheeses, sausage, steaks, condiments, you name it. Staff was very friendly. They also... prepare sandwiches. We had mufaletto & brisket sandwiches that were large, delicious & reasonably priced! Our 1st visit toKrebs but we will be back ..... soon???????????? Read more
I have LOVED this place ALL OF MY LIFE!!!! Wonderful offerings from fresh cut meats, to home made cheeses, to REAL authentic... salad dressings, spices and so much more!!! Italian sausage to satisfy even the toughest critic. From the second you walk in thefront door you are greeted with a friendly hello and an aroma that will let you know you are in a REAL Italian home place. Wellworth the trip...EVERY time. Friendly welcome and very inviting. No pressuring and there's a lot of every little thing for such a small shop. There is also... a hot deli in the back. The sandwiches are amazingly scrumptious! My favorite was the one with Brisket and had a sweet savoryBBQ sauce on toasted flat bread. Then following the muffuleta. Both sandwiches are different from eachother but also verytasting! They have a variety of cheeses too and even some that were made from them! Shop also sells pre-made Italian meals that you can make it at home. The aroma from the food smells yummy and take your time to look around for spices, snacks,groceries,and anything you would like to add to your kitchen flavors.
