amazing vegan wings- which are very hard to come across. also ranch is lowkey the best i have ever had. too good. great sammies... and generally never had anything bad, took off one star because the pulled portobello doesn?t have onion listed on the menu butthe majority of my $13 sandwich was onion (i like onion but it wasn?t what i was expecting) plus i swear there used to be slawin there too but it?s no longer :( also i miss the cheesesteaks. now it?s only available once a month. The positive, I did see a couple burgers come out that actually looked really good but we had stopped in because they were... supposed to be a retailer for Stark Juice, a company coincidentally that was located in the same complex but when we got there,none to be found. They indicated they were pressing their own concoction fresh, although I had not seen it on the menu. It wasa basic blend containing among other things apples, celery, beets and carrots. Sounded good enough. 2 - 16 oz cups,$21.20...hmmmm... The rest of the menu looked pretty reasonable so this caught me a little off guard. I then watched the serverprep everything, without gloves and after just handling my cash - to be fair I am not sure if she had an opportunity to wash ornot as she was out of eyesight for a moment. Good vibe, friendly staff, Excellent food and beverages. I was very happy to find wheatgrass shots on thr menu. Latte was just... right: not too hot and not too bitter. I only wish there were more low tables. I'm not a fan of bar height tables. Read more
Our favorite place in town! We're from NYC and it's the first place we stop when in town visiting family. Truly some of the best... food we've ever had. Even with all the world's cuisine at our doorstep in NY, we've not found a place that comes close toHive. All high quality, local, sustainable ingredients. Paul and Robin are the two nicest humans on the planet and alwaysremember us by name and welcome us with open arms (and treats)! Service from them and the rest of the staff is top notch. Cannotsay enough good things about this place. It's nice to find a place that cares about where their food comes from in addition totaking the time to get to know everyone who passes through. You cannot go wrong with the Hive Burger and the Vegan Mac nCheese. Add a house brewed kefir pop on tap - trust us, you won't regret it! Read more
Friendly and rustic atmosphere and vibes. Excellent example of what vegan options should be like. Loved the home brewed soda,... especially as a home brewer myself. Could have used bigger portion options or a combo platter selection of all their creativemeals. A bit hard to find but well worth it. Most likely going back when we pick up our puppy! Read more
Very cute homey spot. However, I thought they?d only brought out half my sandwich when I got the plate. It was the smallest... sandwich I?ve ever ordered, and not cheap either. Really wanted to like this place but it was a little dirty and overpriced. Read more
The meals are made fresh to order with fresh locally grown ingredients. The menu creativety is exceptional and executed to near... culinary perfection. The employees are friendly and professional. What a great find! I am not vegetarian but I love local fresh food so I gave this place a try. And what I had was delicious! I... had the (veggie) burger with blue cheese and mushrooms over greens. The burger itself was packed with flavor and let me feelingfull but not too full like some restaurant food does. The mushrooms were perfect with the tangy blue cheese and the greens wereas fresh as the ones I pick from my garden! I also tried the oat milk soft serve and was surprised how creamy it was! It was arefreshing treat on a hot day and I enjoyed the hints of flavor from the oat milk and other protein rich ingredients. Theystaff were super friendly and the atmosphere is adorable.
