Stopped by today for a burger and fries. Derrick (sp?) was very friendly and had my order ready quickly. I admit I ate half the... fries on the drive home. They were just slightly crisp on the outside and hot and tender inside. The cracked salt sprinkledliberally over them was perfect. The burger is a single 1/3 lb patty and I was sure it wasn't going to be big enough for myappetite. I was wrong. It was exactly the right portion size, especially after scarfing all those fries. The patty had goodflavor, and the ingredients were simple but good quality. The only thing that I felt like I was missing was a pickle. Otherwisea really solid burger. My kid has been itching to try this place ever since he saw it on social media. We definitely want to support our local food... trucks. I opted for a brisket plate. The only sides he had available were fries or onion rings. My kid ordered a rib plate. Theowner told us he would bring it right out to us. The service was quick as he handed us our food less than 5 minutes later. Thebrisket was juicy and fell apart when you pulled it; but, I could barely taste any hint of smoke or any crust of seasoning thatI expect when you rub brisket. The ribs were sweet, bur was expecting a tad bit more seasoning. The fries were shoe string andthe onion rings were very good. He did include a side of BBQ sauce which was a little sweet. He does not offer any bread withhis BBQ like some places do. I know he may be experimenting with sides. I would love to see him expand the sides he hasavailable other than mashed potatoes, fries or onion rings. I did not ask him how he prepares his brisket. I would have liked tohave had a tad bit more smoke on both the ribs and brisket and a tad bit more seasoning. I know he has been open for a littlewhile and did not want to be so nit picky with my review, so I opted for 4 stars because the food was good, but could use someimprovement. Read more
I got a sampler plate for $20 the amount of food that they give me was not worth the $20 maybe $15 would be OK. The brisket and... ribs was very tender but it did not have very much taste. Did not like it will not be back. Read more
