We eat at this place at least once a week. The food and the service has always been good. However, we ate here at lunch today... and the service was horrible. This is not the fault of the server. She was waiting the entire dining room by herself andrunning the cash register. There is no way she could keep up. We waited 40 minutes for our food, ate w/o anything to drink. We asked for mayo numerous times and never received it. The waitress needs help. During lunch, there should never be onewaitress. Read more
Great family restaurant owned by a great family. Good atmosphere and good food. The BBQ is amazing but the sauce is the BEST!! ... I highly recommend the chicken philly sandwich. Love it when the train runs around the dining room. Give them a try. Read more
Great stop on the scenic route home today! My wife had never been in LaCenter before and we were headed on down to LBL. Smokey... D?s was terrific! I had the catfish and my wife had the pulled pork with the Smokey D?s bbq sauce. Both were excellent! We splita piece of pecan pie and it was tremendous!! Recommend it warmed if you get it! Read more
