I have always lived coney island chili digs! Was my go to place in the mall until the closed there. My friend, grand daughter... and I decided to stop at this location today. Big mistake. The place is run down and dirty. The guy that took the order was veryrude to my friend, then I went back to the counter after we got our food and simply asked for some ranch for grand daughterschicken nuggets. The lady who is supposed to be a manager/owner was flat out nasty. Never been treated like that in a restaurantbefore. She has no business working with the public in any way shape or form. Add that to the hit dogs being different and nitvery good, the buns were almost crispy and the food was barely warm.....my dollars will be spent elsewhere. Won't set foot inthere again. Read more

I'd have to say it is very sad to see this fast food restaurant dieing. I really don't like leaving a negative review for... anyone. Sometimes staff are having a bad day, they are people too. It has been several visits over the years that has pushed meto this point. The manager lady (not really a lady) does not belong working with customers. She is killing the business. Being rude to your customers is the best way of saying "don't come back... You're not welcome here". When we visited today wenoticed that the restaurant and lobby were very dirty. The floors behind the door and in the corner was black. I would hopethat things like this get noticed before it's too late. Is this the true reason that this business has lost otherlocations? Coney Island is a staple. Service is always good and out of the 50 or so times I've been there I've never had an order messed up... or had poor food. CHECK IT OUT! Read more
The food was okay, the lady working first into second shift around 1:30 the lady is a very stuck up person and is very rude. She... tells kids who aren?t her kids what to do. Meanwhile my nephew was only sitting on the ledge. Read more
Lost a life long customer, because the manager/owner felt the need to chastise us over having the order packed to go. We... decided, after originally getting it to go, to eat in, and take some with us. It uses too much paper! DID WE NOT JUST PAY TOPATRONIZE YOUR PLACE? What does it matter. Your paper cost is YOUR problem. I said then we'll just get it to go. Oh, you can eatin here, repeated 5x. I KNOW! We don't want to eat in a restaurant where the owner/manager wants to take her concern/bad day outon paying customers. With so many locations closed, I can't believe customer service is this poor. The food, as always, wasgreat. Sad that someone, feeling the need to be the big/boss person, couldn't resist the urge to cost herself a family ofcustomers! The coney dogs and fries are great. The lady behind the counter is so rude we no longer visit once a week. We now come once... every 5-6 weeks, maybe. It is very uncomfortable listening to that lady crab at the employees and guests. Friendly heads up!I've had friends and family mention that they think the cleanliness is going downhill. Sweep and mop the floors in the diningarea! I can't wait to see the place open for dining and the cheerful owner back behind the counter. Read more
