This was a pleasant surprise. We are not from the area, but we're passing through and decided to stay the night. Saw this place... online that was close to our hotel and decided to give it a try. Great people. A cozy place to eat. Great food. More comfortfood than fancy, but they did a great job. Read more

So many issues!!? The manager said it would Be 20-30 minutes to be seated. At 40 minutes I asked how much longer. He said 15-20... more minutes. I said, ?but you said 15-20?? He said, (with his finger in my face) ?no, I said 30-40 minutes!? I thought maybe Imiss-heard him and walked away. My sister was with me and I asked how long he said when we checked in and she backed up what Ithought so he flat out lied to me and embarrassed me in front of 10 other people waiting. Next, it took another 10 minutes afterbeing seated to get a hello and coffee. When we asked for a spoon to stir our coffee we got, ?we are out of silverware and I?llbring some when we have it?!!! OMGosh really? We had to use a straw! Also, the food was so bad we feel like we got scammed. Iasked for my eggs over medium and she didn?t seem to understand but she would let the cook know. When I got the avocado toastthe eggs were over cooked and may as well have asked for scrambled eggs. There was zero flavor l, the toast was dry and bland, and the spinach wasn?t even cooked!!! And last, when we shared with the waitress about the eggs her response was, ?well we?re sobusy it?s crazy!!! OMGosh again, for real? This is unbelievable and we will never go back again. If I could give it negative 5stars I would. Read more

Just thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here. Everything was so good from staff to food to bakery item. Their talame bun is just... incredible and so unique. Love the ambience too and they have some vegetarian options. A must place to stop by if you are inLacrosse. Read more

The service was above great. We were never overlooked or passed by without a quick check in. Server's were always smiling and... pleasant. Food was delicious. 7yr old daughter told waiter it was definitely worth the wait. Lol, not long really. Definitelywould recommend. And definitely enjoy the Talame bread, which is world famous and made here! Read more

They serve a great breakfast! Very busy place on the weekend, but not a terribly long wait for two people (about 45 mins). The... Eggs Benedict was delicious. The English Muffin was well toasted but the eggs could have been runnier. I also tried theircheese curds which were good. The service was very good. From the host running the show to the young folks in charge of seatingyou to the waiters taking care of you, all of that experience was really pleasant. It was a busy Saturday, but none of the staffseamed stressed out. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our experience. Read more

Stopped in on a Sunday morning, the wait was 45-60 min. We put our name down on a list and wandered around town, came back and... our table was ready. We had eggs Benedict, corned beef hash & had to try the WI cheese curds. The eggs Benedict was flavorful, had good texture. The eggs weren?t as runny as my BF would?ve liked, but it was definitely tasty. He did comment on how greatthe English muffin was, and it was crispy! I had the corned beef hash, it was good, a little dry but tasted great. I decided ona Talame bun, didn?t know what to expect but it was good. Why not try something new in a city you?ve never been. Lastly, thecheese curds were pretty good too. They had great flavor, and ranch as dipping sauce. Since we?ve been here in LaCrosse we?vehad cheese curds at another restaurant which we weren?t a big fan of. The service at the restaurant was good, from the check tothe seating experience. If you?re in LaCrosse, check this place out. Prices are affordable too! Read more

Good breakfast place. A huge amount of food in order. Signature bread were a highlight. Coffee were a little too boring, just... generic coffee with choice of creamers. Plating was average. Serving was great. Interior design was really unique and cozy. Read more

I?m new in town, and so glad I found my breakfast/brunch go-to. Be aware: this place is popular, so there?s going to be a wait -... at least on the weekends. I sat outside, and while it seemed there was only one server taking care of all the outdoor tables, she was on it- kept up with coffee refills, etc. and got through the check delivery and payment quickly. Had to wait what seemeda little long to get my food, but again, it was 11am on a Saturday, so it was crowded. The coffee was good. And I cannotrecommend the Bacon Benedict enough. For one, the hollandaise is from scratch not from a mix. The eggs were perfectly cooked. And the hash browns we fantastic-also from scratch, not frozen. Read more
