My daughter says this place is always busy, and there's always a line. After dinner we took a drive down by The Pearl Ice cream... shop, and were not disappointed. She had a single serving of cotton candy, which was delivered in a perfect pink scoop in acardboard cup. And I ordered a hot fudge sundae, complete with whipped cream, chopped peanuts (you can also choose pecans orcashews), and of course, a cherry. All this while watching the servers perform their magic from behind a 30s-style soda fountaincounter. I believe you can even order phosphates! We took our ice creams out for a stroll and sat down a few blocks away tostare out at the great Mississippi River. Read more
