Really enjoyed Kama Bistro. Went for lunch while in LaGrange area on a weekend. Loved the chili paneer appetizer and our main... course of chicken and lamb masala served over basmati rice. Definitely a new favorite and looking forward to a return visit. Read more

Rachel was amazing. It was an absolute pleasure to have her as our server. Food was amazing. Will definitely come back every... time I’m in Chicago. The spicy chicken Tikka Masala was the best I’ve ever had. Read more

Best Indian food I have ever had! My family and I used to go to this Indian restaurant called Taj Mahal and they were amazing.... Sadly, they ran out of business. So my family and I started to go to Kama Bistro and we absolutely love it! I also love ChasingVenus - it is my favorite wine! Read more

This was our second time. Both were excellent experiences. I recommend dining in for the ambiance and great service. Cocktails... are delicious, maybe a little pricey. All the food we had was incredible. We definitely recommend the lobster bisque. Read more

Everything made from scratch? I am in-today, tomorrow and always!???? I loved the fresh food concept, ambiance, and service.... Nothing can be any better. Everything is made on order so you can select your protein, that’s a win win for a vegetarian likeme. Absolutely loved a cute gesture by the servers - complementary dessert on our anniversary. I am going back again and againand again. 5 ?? Would also like to add, parking around this restaurant is a bit difficult. So plan ahead. :) Read more

We were a group of 5 people and came here on a Friday night. We made reservations in advance and were seated promptly on... arrival. We had 2 vegetarians in our group. We ordered samosas, chili chicken and crispy chilling potatoes for appetizers and arooibis tea, mango lassi and a few cocktails to start us off. The chili chicken tasted great but it wasn’t really whatyou’d call as chili chicken in India. The samosas and crispy chili potatoes were good. All the drinks were all pretty decenttoo. For mains we had a malai kofta, tandoori grilled chicken, lamb nihari, dal makhani, vegetable pulao and raita. We also hada garlic naan and pudina paratha. All in all we knew this was a lot of food for 5 people but we were prepared to take homeleftovers. The tandoori grilled chicken had raving reviews from all those who had it in our group. The malai kofta and dal weredecent and so was the pudina paratha and pulao. The disappointments were the lamb nihari and garlic naan. The nihari wasn’treally a nihari and didn’t taste like one and the garlic naan wasn’t flavored very well and seemed very dry. The prices areon the higher end but the portion sizes are pretty big too. A pretty decent Indian restaurant by chicago standards and woulddefinitely recommend you to check it out. Read more

Extremely disappointed by the quantity and price of food. The taste was good and I was hungry that's why I gave 3 stars else my... initial thoughts were to give them almost 1 star. My recommendation is that you can find Indian restaurants with much betterdeals and also more options in terms of cuisine, quality of food, Quantity and pricing at places like Lombard, Naperville andSchaumburg.
