The food is ok. Service is ok. It's pretty bad that the kids meals cost as much as an adult entree. Went last night, kids meals... almost $10 a piece and they bring out tiny plates of food. Within the last year prices have sky rocketed at this business. Theentrees appear to be getting smaller as well. We have eaten at Gustavos since its opening but with their prices going throughthe roof for "ok" food, I think we are going to be looking else where in the future. Read more
Food is edible, but absolutely no flavor. Straight out of a can, into a warmer, and onto your plate. Drinks from the bar contain... little, if any, alcohol. Don?t let the colorful pictures online fool you - you won?t be served anything that resembles them.Make the drive into Louisville for better options or just go to Taco Bell where you can get the same food for less. Great service and amazing food. Visiting family and came here for dinner. We had a large group and they tended to us amazingly.... Food was out quickly and everything tasted amazing! (I recommend the pork belly tacos) definitely a must have if you're here. Read more
I had the shrimp tacos and they surpassed those that I have had at other restaurants. They were filled with shrimp and avocado... plus came with all the other ingredients plus a delightful chipotle sauce. I would eat there again without a second thought. Read more
The service was awesome! It was pretty busy but we were immediately sat and waited on. Our server was attentive and nice. They... provided chips and salsa along with individual bowls so there was no double dipping. I had the barirra tacos and they were good.Their cheese sauce wasn't expensive like other restaurants. It was good. The margaritas were really good. One was the Gustavo's Margarita and the other was the Juan & Rita. They were both... worth their price and worth a try. I had the pollo playa and added shrimp and the shrimp were nice and plump. It was all good.The service was good as well, they have a nice team in the restaurant. Read more
Nov 2022; went for a late lunch about 3:00 in the afternoon. Seated immediately and service was great at first, got our drinks... and our order placed but when it came out it was missing the add-on piece of fish to the seafood plate, told the serverdelivering and he went back to the kitchen for remainder of order. After approximate 8 to 10 minutes we asked the deliveryserver about the remainder of our order, we had not seen our server since placing our order. It did come out a couple minuteslater and he advised it would be taken off of her bill. I was able to finally catch the eye of our original server and asked forour bill. Past experience has always been really great, and this little issue in service was not that bad overall. I recommendGustavo's to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant.
