Not a bad course, BUT. We wasted close to an hour, dealing with a brokedown golfcart, not to mention the pro shop attendant was... very slow. On top of that, a rude marshal, made us turn in our cart but let others stay on the course. Read more

Scenic local country club that has a 9 hole golf course, a chef managed buffet (with good healthy salads, soups, vegetables,... meats, and desserts), tennis courts, and a good swimming pool. Friendly and hospitable staff. Clean. Meeting rooms are availablefor conferences and social meetings. Example: La Grange Noon Lions Club meets here every Thursday. "Frisch Auf!" is theadvertising slogan for 19'th Century brewmmaster H.L. Kreische who had a brewery and beer hall nearby (at Monument Hill andKreische Brewery State Historic Sites). It?s a 4.3. Nice nine hole public course. You get the opportunity to play downhill from Monument Hill. I will definitely be... going back. The staff is very nice. Be sure to look at the entrance and where to park before you go. Trying to pull in can bedifficult if you don?t know where to park. Read more
