Walked in on a Friday evening with no reservation. Host found us a seat out on the patio. Were greeted and set up promptly. ... Waitress took drink oder. We weren't real hungry, so we ordered chicken pesto sandwich and a chopped salad. Sandwich wasexcellent. Great flavors and ample portions. Chopped salad was very good also. Lots of everything in there. House dressingwas a sweet Italian which was very good. Only thing not perfect, which restaurant has no control over, is the noise andexhaust from 31st Street. On Saturday 08/13/2022, my family was celebrating my sisters birthday. This is my 2nd time at this restaurant and the food and... service is impeccable! Our waitress, Esmeralda, was amazing! This was our first time coming to Mattone. They were able to take our reservation for 8 people on really short notice which was... so great because everywhere else was booked. With our busy day I didn't even think about having to make reservations anywhere.The food was delicious. The only thing I would've done differently is asked for my shrimp pesto with no tomatoes. They were verylarge chunks, but that's just personal preference. Both of my children got the pizza on the kids menu which was surprisingly thesize of a medium pizza. We definitely took plenty of pizza back home. Our waitress was great and everything was overall a greatexperience. I would definitely come back. Read more

I can't praise them enough. I volunteer for Make a Wish and Mattone's recently hosted a small send off dinner for one of my wish... children who will be going to Disney World. They were extremely easy to work and very accommodating. The staff is generous andkind and my wish family had a great time! If that's not enough to get you in the door, go for the delicious food!
