11.3.22 update: we went here for our anniversary & food & service were amazing! The host & server wished us a happy anniversary... & they brought us small glasses of Prosecco to toast. The short rib gnocchi was delish, the tomato focaccia was amazing! Crispyedges & soft, fluffy center. Hubby got flat iron steak w broccolini & fries (very good). Ended w warm brownie & salted caramelapple Sunday - both were good. Perfect dining experience on a Tuesday night! Host was very nice, Jim our server was veryknowledgeable & helpful explaining the menu items. We got the simple salad & grilled Cesar salad. Both were huge & could feet atleast 2 people each. The Caesar dressing & croutons were spot on! I got the veggie lasagna & it was super flavorful & fresh. Myfriend got the gnochetti w chicken & mushrooms and it was super flavorful! SO good! Also got lemon cheesecake & chocolatebundino for dessert - both were delish. Super chill & relaxing atmosphere! Had a lovely time & will return. Read more
First time dining in, have ordered take-out many times previously (and was always pleased with it). Had a great time and plan to... go back again soon! Great atmosphere, aesthetically beautiful inside and outside eating areas, food was high quality, wellcooked/seasoned, and plated beautifully with good portions. We also ordered some drinks, wine and cocktails were outstanding.Menu was not too big, not too small - easy to figure out what we wanted to order. This is a hidden gem with food/drink andsetting quality equal to some of the better-known and more expensive restaurants in places like Oak Brook but without thepretense, noise, and bustling vibe. No offense to those places, but I'd rather go back to Posto 31 and I'd recommend you do thesame! Read more
We ordered several appetizers including the Fresh Ricotta, Brussels Sprouts , Caesar Salad, Simple Salad, Focaccia and... Calamari all of which were phenomenal. For dinner I had the Frutto di Mare which was a simple pasta in an arrabbiata sauce withassorted seafood. Everything was perfect and the seafood was cooked perfectly. I would definitely return! We ate a delicious dinner here that I really couldn't fault. I love pasta and this place has many varieties, in addition to... serving other entrees. I feel like everyone in a group can find something they'd like to eat here. As a treat, we ordered somecheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. I'd definitely be up for coming back here. Read more
This place is SO dang good! We loved the cocktails & the food, but honestly we were really impressed with the staff. I can’t... remember our waitress’s name, but she was so helpful, kind, happy and patient. She & the sweet hostess Mariah were both honestabout what they love on the menu- The recommendations they gave us were AMAZING! Even ended by giving us complimentarydonuts. We had the most wonderful meal! All of our dishes were amazing. The pasta was fresh and house-made that melted in your mouth.... Drink recommendations were perfect. Our server, Ashley, had a wealth of knowledge for the menu items and drink selections. Theatmosphere was modern and open without being pretentious. The staff, including the manager, made us feel at home. We appreciatedtheir genuineness! Prices were fair. Portions were plentiful, leftovers for another meal. We ordered Bruschetta fresh andflavorful without too crunchy of the bread, Calamari that came with lightly fried lemon wheels ????, Brussel Sprouts with azingy sweet chili flavor, Rigatoni with sausage sauce was fresh balanced flavors, Special of the day Caprese Risotto creamy andfull of fresh basil flavoring with accents of balsamic, Gnocchi with braised Short Ribs and the pasta and meat melted in yourmouth, Semolina Chicken with a side salad on the plate. We are regular customers - we've sat at tables a few times, but we love to walk over and sit at the bar. We almost always make... a meal of appetizers - they're all so good! - but occasionally will branch out to actual entrees. The bartending has beeninconsistent since Marco left, but mostly very good (we regularly order the smoked old fashioned, and the last couple of timesthe flavor was not what it should have been).
