I first discovered Bubba’s while in town for work approx 10 years ago and spent every night dining there while I was in town .... Fast forward 10years came back in town and so glad to see them still in business the owners are super friendly and the food isfantastic. If your a BBQ lover definitely try them out. Great place, you pick where you sit and order at the counter! Really fast service, the music was nice and gave a good... atmosphere. The ribs were so good and the meat just fell off the bone, definitely recommend the Mac and cheese! Cornbread wasvery filling. Only thing was the corn was flavorless and got no refund or replacement for it. Other than that, great place tostop and eat after walking around La Jolla. As a Kansas City native, this place was pretty good. If I could give half a star I would give it a 3.5. The ribs were tender and... tasted great. Blink and you’ll miss it. This yummy hidden treasure is a few steps down from the sidewalk right on Prospect Street in La... Jolla. We had a little of EVERYTHING….chicken, ribs, chopped brisket, sweet potato w/ melted brown sugar, broccoli and thekind of double baked mac-n-cheese you could only dream about.
