We were in a mood for pizza and it was shortly after 11am. Most spots in the area weren't open until noon or later but Lark and... Owl was so we went. We ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was delicious. Not a thin crust but not too thick . Some tomatoesbut not overwhelming like so many are, with lots of love oil. Great spot to grab some delicious pizza, sandwiches & salads. Philly Pizza is a must try, so is the goat cheese salad. They are... open from early morning to late at night so you can grab an acai bowl after your morning run or stop by at night for a quickbite after some drinks. We come to the Owl on a regular basis as we like to support bird rock businesses since we live two blocks away. The food is good... to great depending upon what you order and we have tried most regular items in the menu as well as specials. The issue come intoplay with failing to receive on line orders, which results in going there to pick it up and no one knows anything about theorder. So we now call to place the order. In this situation almost every order we place they say it will be ready in 15-20minutes. 90% of the time it is never ready with 20 minutes and is more like 30 to 40 minutes. Frustrating to have to sit thereand wait when calling ahead. Finally on multiple occasions the food ordered is not what we order. For example today ordered achick Parm sub and got a turkey avocado sub. Not sure how that can happen when I always provide my name when calling in theorder. Anyway the food is great but there are problems as I outlined that have been happening since they opened long ago. Read more
