Too funny... I was so caught up in the atmosphere and service I didn't take any pictures of what we were served and what we... enjoyed. Everything was great. I did get a picture of a seagull flying away from the fountain across the street. Oh, for thethree of us, including tip, we only paid $57.02 and took some food home. We came in and this place had nice outdoor seating. We sat down after we ordered our food. When we sat down the tables all... looked. We took the best one and sat down. By far this place wasn?t too good. The place wasn?t crowded and we were one of thefew people there, now I know why. Our food came out pretty slowly and when we got it it was cold. My meat was burnt andinedible. My kids calamari was rubbery and cold. The time I asked for new meat it was over salted and bad. The dip my friendtook was like overcooked rice. The salad she took was soggy and watery. On top of this message service was terrible. We askedthe server many times for spoons plates and napkins and she nodded her head and ignored us. We tried many times to get herattention but there was no hope. She told us it was her first day on the job, but that doesn?t mean she should ignore us. Theworst thing was we tried to get our money back but we already payed in the first place. Never go to this place because you haveto pay even before getting the food. We were trying to find a place to eat in la Jolla area and every place had no tables or long waits and we came across this gem.... Great Mediterranean food! Excellent new Greek restaurant. We were blown away by how delicious their gyro?s are. The pits is fresh, warm, and soft. The... meat cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. Great place! Very clean inside and outside; and large portions. Ordered lentil soup and chicken gyro sandwich to go and the food... was ready in 10min, everything was fresh and well cooked.
