The Melt is a good place to stop by for a quick but hearty meal. I highly recommend you plan to take your food to go or bring... your own wipes to wipe down the tables. They offer grilled cheese, burgers, and macaroni and cheese options. The food isprepared fresh. They offer some dessert options, milkshakes, and the soda served is Alameda Soda. When you arrive, you placeyour order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to alert you when your food is ready. If your lucky, there might be a tableavailable to sit and wait. There is limited seating available inside and outside. The tables inside were not very clean andappeared they hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. There were gnats around the drink area. Read more

Always wanted to try this and finally got around to trying it. I ordered a Patty Melt and Parmesan Fries. I took the food to the... park to eat it but when I finally looked in the bag, the Parmesan Fries were not there. Too far to go back to the restaurant, Ijust took the L on it. The food was great but it is getting a 1 Star due to forgetting half my order. Read more

Stumbled on the Melt Burger when looking for lunch spots at Comic-Con. Overall I'd say everything was pretty good. Food was... good. I got the original Melt Burger with garlic parmesan fries which I really liked. Pickles I'm guessing are hand cut becausethey weren't uniform at all with other sandwiches (I got a small sliver compared to my friend's burger. No biggie) Staff issuper friendly and actually look like they enjoy working there. Overall I was pretty pleased with my only experience there. Willdefinitely be back Read more

I really like their cheese steak sandwich especially when you add grilled mushrooms and lettuce and tomato! Their food is... usually good! The jalapeños might be sometimes too spicy but still I enjoy it. They are fast in service and you don?t have towait as long for your food. I would suggest The Melt! Read more

The patty melt is solid. If you?re not a mustard fan sub their special sauce instead. Super buttery and crispy! I personally sub... cheddar for Swiss as well. Onions are tasty and you can tell are developed well. Also tried their melt burger. Overall ok butI?d like by burger not well done, nothing out of this world. But overall pretty good. I love that their sodas don?t haveartificial colors added! Read more
