Pro-tips. Bring your own water/drinks. Grab a friend or two. One gets in line to order food while the other gets in line to get... salsa. If you bring a second friend, then have that friend to find a table. These need to done meticulously, or else you willspend most of your time STANDING IN LINE!!! Food is great. It is totally worth the wait. The salsa line is pretty ridiculous.Shrimp taco is the best ????. Shrimps are fresh, with just the right amount of vegetables. Grilled chicken is my secondfavorite. Wow what can I say. Went with friends to have the best most acclaimed tacos and I wasn?t disappointed. We ordered 1. Fish tacos-... 5/5 super flavored,juicy and well cooked. 2. Chicken tacos-5/5 chicken was so fresh that it almost melted in mouth. Tacos wereso freshly made they just blew my mind. 3. Chicken burrito- 5/5. It?s one of the first kind I tried that had no rice and I canfinally say true burritos don?t have rice and don?t need extra condiments to add flavors because that?s what the ingredientsinside are supposed to do 4 cactus taco-3/5. It?s not really the restaurant?s fault for the rating it?s my personal view. Inever had cactus before I would have appreciated it to be cooked instead of just steamed. This is my second time being here and trying the food. I didn't leave a review the first time because I wasn't sure that they... will keep Quality qontrol. This place is the best place to have an authentic Mexican food all over united States. Not only Sandiego or California but all over US. They have variety of tacos flavors and burritos and fries with cheese meat and shrimps.This time I tried their lemon Seasoning corn. Was such a wonderful meal. I usually can eat a lot but this place' portion is hugeand I could barely finish My burrito and fries. The prices are affordable. The lines here is to consider. You might waitonline to get there and order around 25 minutes and then another 15 minutes for your order to be ready so if you are extremelyhungry you should consider that. So so good. Their fish tacos are bomb. The fish tastes freshly deep fried and the sauce in there is mmmmmm good. I got the elote... street corn, which was good but I think they over did the lime juice so it was almost too citrusy. The chips and guac are goodbut the standout was the fish tacos. I?ve had their churros in the past, which are to DIE for, but the last two times they wereout of batter (nooooooo!). Please have churros next time! The Taco Stand has amazing tacos and but honestly all the food is great. It was busy and you will have to wait but it?s worth... it. The food is hot and fresh. The staff is very nice and the food did come out pretty fast. There is very little seating insidebut they have a good amount of outside seating. With Covid you do have to wear a face mask inside the restaurant. It?s prettyaffordable and I highly recommend if you like good food! Read more
I'm from San Antonio which is a city packed with great taco options. However, The Taco Stand is as good as any I've had! The... line might get long but it moves quickly. It's worth a wait for the juicy but crisp asada, the succulent pastor, and perfectlycooked chicken. Come hungry and try as many as possible. Read more
Bit of a tourist spot, but regardless I would recommend everyone to come here at least once. If you try and go during prime... weekend sunset hours except quite a long time. Especially during the warmer months of the year. We were very satisfied with thetacos that we received, the price per taco is a little steep at $3-4 per. If you are looking for a good bang per buck, I wouldsay try their burritos. But I usually eat about 3 tacos and that fills me up plenty. Parking will certainly be tough.
