I tell the lady at the drive thru I wanted a route 44 power aid with easy ice. She says "route 44 power aid anything else?" I... say "easy ice." She says "anything else?" "I would like easy ice in that power aid." She says "yeah I got the easy ice part,anything else?" (In a very disrespectful tone.) So I drive away and call the store. I'm told "the manager is on the phone,she'll be with you when she's back" after waiting on hold I hang up and call back, the lady apologizes and tells me "there wasjust a gunman in the store and please hold for the manager. After waiting awhile the call disconnected. I call back and a boyanswers and I say "I was waiting for a manager and the call disconnected" he starts yelling "there was just a gunman in thestore so yeah the call disconnected." And I said "well, I think you should inform the customer before you disconnect the calland the guy just yells louder "THERE WAS JUST A GUNMA...." (I hung up.) I wait about 20 mins and call back and a woman answersand I ask to speak to a manager. The boy answers after a moment. I ask if he is a manager he says "no I'm a cook. are you theguy that just hung up on me" and I say "you hung up on me first." He starts yelling and screaming to the top of his lungs, I askhis name and he yells something and hangs up. I call right back and a woman answers she sounds very angry and says her name isWanida the manager and I say "hello wanida I called there earlier and the call disconnected and I called back.." wanida startsyelling over me "what do you want from me what do you want from me? Why were you calling in the 1st place?'' I tried telling her"I have multiple issues that should be addressed" she continued yelling "what do you want me to do?" I said "I want you toretrain your staff!" She yelled "no I won't and you need to stop calling or I will call the police on you for harassment" I hungup and called corporate. Went there for a quick shake with my wife and they messed it up. The lady taking my order was short and rude. I left it alone. 2... days later I was ordering food for the family and another lady was being short snippy and rude. I just needed food for dinner,it's not my fault they dont pay you guys enough to smile. Try harder Read more
Stopped through a town I hadn?t even heard of to pull over to try to book a hotel on my phone?happened to be passing Sonic and... decided to pull over to get some food while we looked up hotels up north?this proved to be the most costly choice of our roadtrip! I used to love Sonic slushies when I was younger and thought, ?why not?? We went to the drive-thru window, ordered food(pretty normal for a fast food place) , but for some reason, the girl gave us our food before she gave my card back?acting alittle off, didn?t think much of it at the time, BUT a couple days later my card was turned off for fraudulent activity (after a$520.49 charge to ?The city of La Junta? had been processed with numerous other fraudulent charges flagged) The only place westopped in that town was Sonic?We were traveling from California to Missouri to see my mom who hadn?t been doing well, so thiswas more than unpleasant to find out. I have since called the complaint line so many times over the last month and have beenpromised a call back (which has yet to happen!) I can?t even look at a Sonic sign now without crying! This has been THE worstdrive-thru experience of my life/worst time trying to speak to someone who cares enough to do something to make this remotely?right?. I could go on and on about all of the problems this has since caused, but bottom line?VERY displeased to say theleast! **I have called countless times now with more than enough information to only get the run around?they have promised acall back many times with no effort to make this situation better. So disappointed in this place. Went one time and had to move to 3 different stalls after waiting 5 minutes at each one for a... simple ?Hello?. Try again this evening, this time going through the drive through where I was going to place a rather large $amount order but, since I said ?strawberry shake? in my order, I was sent to a stall. Guess what?no one answered my button push.Go figure. While sitting there waiting for 10 minutes, the gentleman next to my stall (who was there before me) got out of hisvehicle and approached the carhop asking where his food was, poor thing didn?t have an answer for him. Meanwhile the lady on theother side of me (again, there before me) yelled out ?good luck, we?ve been here waiting too? as she put her car in reverse andleft. Efficient and friendly people not to mention the refreshing Route 44 Cherry Limeade on 100 degree summer day.
First and Most important is the hatch green chili is off the hook now. i hope it always stays this flavor. This Sonic has... always been hit or miss. For a while we did not eat here because of the misses. Every once in a while ate at a Sonic somewhereelse and food was always so much superior. but.... Lately this sonic has stepped up to the plate and back to make some very goodfood. out of the last 10 visits 9 were spot on with expectations. the 1 not was first thing in the am and ordered a burger andthe bread was rock hard like it was left out all night. i ended up eating it like a tostada and only ate the non bread parts. Sat and waited in a stall for over 30 minutes and never got anybody to take my order even after pushing the button several times... and even switching stalls. there was only one other customer there and they weren't served either, drove all the way to RockyFord to get sonic... HUGE disappointment in this place. Read more
