This is a DESTINATION restaurant! We would, and will, return to La Malbaie again if only for this restaurant as it exceeded all... expectations. Coming from the wine region of northern California and finding this gem was beyond compare... The design of therestaurant sets the tone for an unbelievable experience. Service was gracious, warm, perfectly paced, and very knowledgeable...,and descriptions were spot on regarding the plates and wine pairings. The menu very interesting and the chefs as well. The menuis split in two columns, the left side is HIS take on how to prepare the chosen selection, the right side HERS. It is a couplewho own and are in the kitchen for 15 years now. I hope they stay for many more as we will return for many more hopefully...Bravo! Read more
Excellent food, service, and value. Impossible to beat in this, or perhaps any region of the country. The chefs have lively... imaginations and are willing to take risks, which adds an element of excitement to the experience. One may quibble with this orthat level of refinement or wine pairing, but doing so will only somehow add to the seduction. Read more
very well deserved 5 star and i am not surprise that it has an average of 4.9. some of the best dishes i had in any restaurant... in ant country. deserves imo 1 michelin star. if you are in the are it is a must. small suggestion, add a small children menu. Read more
Excellent concept. Two chefs, each prepares the same produce but their own way. Plates are appetizer sized or a bit bigger so... you can choose 2 or 3. But regardless of the concept the food is worth eating there. One of the best tables of the region. Read more
Definitely a must if you're looking for an out of the ordinary culinary experience here in Charlevoix, QC. A unique experience... awaits you. My wife and I tried the option of having the same 4 dishes (so 8 in total). This place is our favorite restaurant in Canada. Food is always top notch but please don?t go so I can get a table. ;)
