First time trying this place today. I've gotten lots of mixed reviews from several people so we thought what the heck let's give... it a shot. I'll start by saying the counter service was excellent. The young lady working was quite pleasant and efficient. Ordered a chopped beef potato a chopped beef sandwich and a small potato salad and it was $34. Now I'm not opposed to payingover priced prices for what I put into my body as long as it's warranted. Well friends not the case here. The sandwich was justalright according to my guy however the potato salad was apparently real good so yay to that. Now the baked potato was old notsuper old but you can tell when the skin starts to get that papery look feel and texture to it. Also it doesn't hurt that I useto work at a BBQ joint and went to Ai for culinary and I know the hold time on potatoes. Not a big baker potato like mostplaces use I had to sit and spread it all out to make myself feel better about the $16 almost $17 I had just paid for it. Thesauce (spicy) has good flavor with a nice kick but just nothing special. And the potato itself wasn't hot outta the oveneither. No steam no frills. Needless to say glad I tried it but won't be rushing back. For what I paid without even getting asoda or tea or a beer for that matter there's way better options out there folks. Don't believe the hype. Even Pappas BBQdoesn't charge outlandish prices like that for better quality food. And no extra charges for their 2oz solo cups if you wantedextra whatever on the side. Just not the greatest choice for BBQ in the area. So think twice before spending your hard earnedmoney here. They think alot of their overpriced food here! Read more

I am so disappointed with my 1/4 chicken dinner. I have been here so many times before since I use to live in this area and I... have never had a bad meal. I came into town for the day from Austin and I was looking for something good to eat. I knew it wasnearly closing time but I should have checked my order and my pic?s state the truth. Chicken was so dry and not edible but thisshould have never been served to a customer. They could have easily said would you like to choose something else?With all thetrophies on display this is just inexcusable. Read more

What a great find! Really good BBQ! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food came up fast and was well presented (see... photos). We had the brisket nachos on the recommendation of the server. We also ordered the 3 meat plater to share and it wasmore than enough. We ended up taking half the nachos and 1/3 of the meat home. Probably should have got the two meat platterinstead! All in all a very good experience and well worth the stop. Read more
