I was so surprised walking into this deli. The decor and vibe was like going on a mini vacation from my day. They have a ton of... incredible sandwich choices, both hot and cold, delicious fresh salads, soups, nachos and more. They also have an incrediblecraft beer selection on draft, they offer wine, hard seltzer/kombucha, and champagne. There is a an epic tropical beer gardenout back where they host live music and provide customers an area they can reserve for events, or simply bring their dogs andkids to have fun while watching the game on their outdoor flat sreen. Inside there are TVs on every wall showing all the games, and a nice bar area to sit down and enjoy a good time. This place is truly a gem. Read more

I really like this place. It's chill, there's a happy hour from 3-6. You can eat at the bar, or at a high table inside. Lots of... nice seating outside that I go go. Nice beer list. My go to sandwich is the Beach Bikini. It has turkey, spinach, cranberrysauce, sunflower seeds on whole wheat. Wait can be a little at peak times. Service is good. Read more

Oh my goodness, I think this is my new favorite casual restaurant! I love the vibe of this place, the staff were all young and... sweet, the FOOD WAS AMAZING and I like the added touch of it being served on a paper covered FRISBEE ????! I had HALF of a largePig Kahuna, and my brother and sister-in-law shared a Classic Turkey Sandwich and added avocado. Both sandwiches were served ondelicious French rolls that tasted fresh baked...flakey crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The barbecued pork in the PigKahuna was melt in your mouth tasty, topped with melted cheddar cheese, chunks of juicy pineapple and drizzled with barbecuesauce. The Classic Turkey was...a Classic Turkey on a delicious French roll. There are fountain drinks, bottled drinks, andalcoholic drinks. Happy Hour is every day from 3:00 to 6:00, and Caribbean Fever Reggae band plays every Friday and Saturdayfrom 5:00 pm-9:00pm. Even though Beach Hut Deli is about 30 minutes away from the beach, this is a place I highly recommend ifyou are near La Mesa! I look forward to going back again and again. PS On a side note, the the bathrooms are also nicelydecorated and clean as well ????????????. Read more

Can't rave enough about their vegetarian California lettuce wrap. So fresh and delicious! their avocados taste like heaven ! I... also like their surfing bird sandwich. Great portion size and staff are willing to customize your order. Very nice place andstaff and I'm a returning customer always. Didn't care for the soups-which I was bumped about- but the menu is pretty diversed. Read more

It's pretty exciting when Rancho gets a new restaurant as its been a lot of the same stuff for years. After we lost one of the... better sub places in the area to a popular breakfast spot, we needed another good deli spot. I think Beach Hut is going to bethat spot. It's a little on the pricey side but golly do they make a hefty sub. I didn't think to stay and enjoy the patio theyhad set up in the front but I will next time as they have beers on tap and in the bottle! Their menu is really great, a goodselection of signature hot/cold sandos that seem to be packed full of ingredients and flavor. And of course they have theclassics for the sub purists out there. There's a decent few veggie sandwiches and a nice selection of salads (nothing veganthat I can see ????). I really would like to try one of their "Beach Munchie" menu items when i go again. The time around I hadthe Santa Cruz - pastrami, bacon, avo, and cream cheese. I love pastrami and thats usually my go to for any new sandwich place. The sandwich was amazing but I had to remove the cream cheese first. I like cream cheese but this seemed like it was a quarterinch slice (or slightly bigger) off of a block of cream cheese. It would've been better to spread that cream cheese on the breadso its not just a thick chunk of cream cheese in one bite's worth of the sandwich. Other than the cream cheese, the sando waspopping. I wish i could've enjoyed it with one of the brews they had on tap but thats next time around along with their versionof the French Dip! This place is new so they don't seem like they have their full on bearings quite yet (I'm sure opening arestaurant in the middle of a pandemic is a wild time). But I'm not going to let that drop my rating. Can't wait to return! Read more
