I've been wanting to come to this specific location since I was younger but, really never made it a point until last Tuesday. I... loved the boats and decor they have inside... the hostess was really sweet. We were seated right by the diry dishes station andhad to hear slamming dishes the entire time ( we could barely hear ourselves think). I asked if we could be moved because Isuffer from cluster migraines, our waitress moved us one table over right in the sun (LOL OMG!). After sitting there for awhileshe mentions the kitchen is closing soon if you want something other than soda and tea. We immediately ordered since it wasalready past 1pm and this was our breakfast. They really didn't have much of a selection on the menu. We started off with thecalamari strips and ½ dozen oysters (everything was fresh and delicious). I decided to go with the some kind of spicy fishtacos and my husband had the lobster tempura tacos, Everything was very tasty. Our waitress on the other hand took forever tobring out a simple request like Sriracha... finally when she remembered lol, she brought the wrong thing. I asked for extracheese. Watched her walk into the kitchen talk to everyone in there walk out and talk to the hostess and flirt with a tablefull of gentlemen (hey get it girl, I ain't hating ????). But PLEASE my cheese lol. Well I finished tacos and asked a busboyfor it, he was awesome and brought it right over. I enjoyed last bite with cheese. Then our waitress finally appears with thecheese ???????? I just laughed and said I'm done ut thank you. She just said "oh" and walked away. The calamari strips wereyummy and hot The oysters fresh and delicious Our food tasted good we just wish it would've been a little warm. :/ It was anokay meal. Simply amazing filet mignon, perfectly cooked, super tender and juicy. Definitely the same quality as Flemings and Ruth's Chris... filet mignon. Brig Salad (Crisp greens tossed with hearts of palm, dried cranberries, glazed pecans, & crumbled blue cheesevinaigrette) was also excellent. The mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots were good. The chocolate cheesecake was verygood and not overly sweet. The employees were very friendly. Update: Got the salmon entree with carrots and green beans, ricepilaf, and Caesar salad. It was good, but paled in comparison to the amazing filet mignon and Brig salad. The strawberrycheesecake was good and had more of a cake consistency, compared to a New York style cheesecake. Ok, I rarely give 5 star reviews, but our time at Brigantine was well worth it! Our waiter was fast, friendly, and... knowledgeable. The food was fantastic! We ordered a crab cake appetizer, and honestly, it riveled anything I had growing upon the Chesapeake Bay. Our fish meals were served hot and were flawless. Hats off to the bartender who made those Mai Tais. Perfect! We've already made plans for our next visit. Read more
The French fries are amazing, the staff is great, Caesar salad was good but the fish of the fish and chips wasn't my favorite.... The berry apple cobbler was good but tasted a little too healthy because of the oats/crumble on top. Read more
We sat outside on a beautiful day and it is pretty green. It is a semi-formal interior and it is spacious. The food was yummy... and it came in a timely manner. We had half a dozen oysters to start and then I had the crab Benedict and my boyfriend had theshrimp and crab omelet. The staff was friendly and attentive. Read more
I had lunch here with a friend and it was one of the best lunches I've ever had in my life. Seriously. The house salad was so... creatively done and fresh and I had the special. Macadamia encrusted Alaskan Halibut. To die for. Try it next time your there.You will feel the same. Read more
Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! This is an upscale seafood restaurant with a great menu. They have daily specials... and their every day menu has something for everyone. We got Shrimp & Grits, Swordfish, and the Red Snapper Special of the day.All delicious and amazing. Mud pie for dessert was perfect to share! We were seated a romantic booth. Their crab and shrimp fondue was to die for. I had their Brig chowder and my husband had their... Ceasar salad, both were amazing. My husband ordered the swordfish with risotto and I had the cordon Bleu chicken with mashedpotatoes. Both entrees were delicious. We were very happy with the service and gave them a great tip.
