On Friday, the 28th of October 2022, I picked up 178.00 worth of food. I've been here many times before and the food and... service are usually very good. This time however, one of my family's favorite appetizers, the fried calimari was not a Thaiversion. It was closer to the kind you get from an Italian restaurant. The sushi was dark and hardly edible. Half of the ricecontainers were only halfway filled. I ordered the whole fried fish (seabass) and only got a small container of spicy sauce. Ihaven't even looked at the fish yet. The soup, creamy curry based lemongrass had almost no flavor. I think my family and Iwill be getting our Thai food from our very favorite place, a little farther down the road from now on. Very very disappointedin the SUSHI and FRIED CALIMARI. Bangkok Golden down 210 highway in Fort Washington/Oxon Hill much > this nonsense. Read more

They used to make the best drunken noodles, I ordered from here tonight and it was like they prepared it for an infant. 0 spice.... Even the Thai Iced tea tasted like water and milk as if they were conserving tea bags. Wasted my money. Read more

Crabmeat fried rice (not pictured) was delicious. It came with a few shrimp on top. Egg wasn?t thoroughly distributed, most of... It was on top. A bit over priced, you couldn?t tell if it was egg or crab meat. Hint: it was egg. Crab meat was quite hidden.$19.95 Pad Thai was a bit sweeter than what I was used to. Noodles were overly saturated in sauce. Wasn?t a fan. Lunch portion$8.50 (+$1.45 for shrimp) Drunken noodles with chicken. It was perfect. I wasn?t used to it having tomatoes so that wasinteresting. Lunch portion $8.50 Appetizer: sweater shrimps long tempura shrimp wrapped in spring roll wrapper. Tasty. Read more

This is hands down the best Thai spot in Charles county! I could eat here everyday! I normally order the pork pad see ew and my... husband almost always gets the drunken noodles but today we decided to try something different. My husband and I were about toorder a variation of the same kind of meal but our server recommended we try something different and sample each other?s meal. Iwill no longer be ordering my go to pad see ew after having been blown away by the street style grilled pork and Kao kra pow kaidaow! Thank you for the recommendations, we have found our new favorites! Read more

My dad lives in Thailand and has for the last 20 years and I visit him quite often. I know what authentic Thai food taste like... and Kao Thai is one of the most authentic Thai food experiences I've had and the area. I highly recommend giving them a try ifyou're looking for a real authentic Thai food. They also have a friendly staff and a very nice environment. Read more

We are new to the area & came in at the tail end of lunch hours on a whim to check out the local fair. The waitress was very... sweet and attentive. The fried calamari was so tender and the dipping sauce was so good on it. Only one other place makes foodas spicy as I like, but they are in NC. I loved, loved, loved the "Thai spicy" green curry with shrimp. And the drunken noodleswere the best I have had, EVER! They also treated me to a birthday dessert! ???? I would eat here again!
