Food portion was too small for main menu, price is relatively expensive, food served in cold ; good point was about beer draft.

We were 5 people, and were seated at the table for 4. The cafe wasn?t busy at all , but our request to join an additional table... at the far back end of the patio and seat comfortably there was refused with a simple ?we can?t do that ?. I had to ask morethan twice , explaining that two small tables stuck together is really not enough space for all of us. They agreed eventually, but we should have just left instead. No hospitality whatsoever. Read more

Their customer service is great. My friends and I didn?t speak much French and they were very patient with us and spoke English.... The food was ridiculously good, I loved their beetroot and carrot soup, and their poutine was very delicious and had mustard andpeas on it which were new for me but very enjoyable. The only concern is that the prices are high so don?t expect to go therefor a cheap meal, the prices range from 8 for appetizers to 40 dollars for one meal. Read more

On a road trip to the Maritimes, and wanted something that was local, original and better than fast food for a late lunch. A... quick search of nearby restaurants revealed Cafe Azimut as meeting those criteria. Only a couple other diners at the time. Theinterior is simple yet nicely decorated with artwork for sale. The lunch menu is limited and yet sufficiently diverse. Thepoutine of the month involved a riff on beef Bourguignon, while the seafood chowder was rich and full of seafood. The shrimpsalad with slices of Brie was perfect in size, quality and quantity. Also tried the Mystique hard apple cider, and found itvery nice. May try to stop in for dinner on the return trip. Worth the short detour off Highway 20E or 20W. Read more
