Great food, wonderful service. Love their old fashion drinks. Last time we were there I had salmon, it was the best I had in a... long while. Hubs had the prime rib, he said it was very good. Love the cheese and crackers brought out right away, and thebread. Very few restaurants give bread anymore, and theirs is so good. Read more

We went as soon as they opened. They were already filing up. We had half of the wait staff serving, refilling, removing plates,... etc. Very attentive service without being intrusive. We filled up on bread and crashers and were worried about finishing ourmeals. (She didn't). The shrimp was delicious. The baked potatoes were perfect. The perch tasted a bit fishy and the greasemust not have been 375° because they absorbed a lot. The walleye was good and even better with the cocktail sauce. Forget thetartar sauce. She had vanilla ice cream and enjoyed it. The serving was large. I had the raspberry cheesecake that fellstraight out of heaven. A double tall piece compared to other places, with scrumptious raspberry topping and light fluffy realshipped cream. A nice evening with generally very good food. Read more

Dinner was delicious. I had the Heston cut prime, and my girlfriend had the petite cut. Wasn't a fan of the salad or the... thousand dressing, I should of had the soup. The waitress was fair but un attentive. Had to ask for refills on our drinks, andflag her down to place our order. The atmosphere was nice but loud, I would recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the prime, anycut is delicious. Unfortunately if you drink water with your meal, I hope you enjoy heavily iron flavored, it washorrible. Overall I recommend dinner and an adult beverage, you can't go wrong making the trip to the country for thisexperience. Read more

The restaurant is a place with a long-standing history and reputation. It lived up to every bit of that. Family friendly,... wonderful service, and delightful food make it a place to go. My rating is only 4 stars in that one member of our party ishandicapped. The ramp out front was very good but the walk from the front to the back was too much for her. At the end of themeal she was allowed out the back and down a much shorter ramp. Letting handicapped people enter from the back would benefittheir experience. God bless. Read more

Went here for our anniversary. I was a little sceptical at first because of price. But just like everything else, you get what... you pay for! Everyone one was very polite. It seemed like anytime our plate or cup was empty someone came to the table to refillor remove. Prime rib was to die for! I loved the horseradish sauce! And the cheese!!! Yummy. Will return Read more

We had such a nice experience on this visit. Went for my fiance's birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed his prime rib and I loved my... lamb chop. I've never had fried duck legs, tried something new, and they were great! We will definitely come back again Read more

I?ve been wanting to try this place for years, so when a trip took me out to the Michigan/Indiana border, I couldn?t resist! The... space is cozy with a large wood burning fireplace. The staff are friendly and helpful. And now: the food! I got the escargotsfor an appetizer, which lacked a little flavor, but add a little salt and you?re back to buttery goodness. I went for the primerib and here?s where I may have strayed: I got there end of the night. The prime rib was good, I got it medium rare assuggested. Though I suspect if I went earlier in the day, it would have been fresher. The star of the night was the breadpudding, which I dug into too quickly go get a picture. All in all, I?ll go back when I?m in town, but will definitely goearlier in the day to get the prime rib at its best. Read more

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! I hadn't been here in 20years and it's menu is still DIVINE! The surf & turf ; lobster tail & prime... rib,was other worldly. Prime rib was perfection and the lobster tail melted in my mouth. Hubby got the Lake & Land; hand breadedlake perch with a NY Strip steak. Both dishes were impeccably prepared and presented. We wrapped up with the heavenly decadentmile high cheesecake and turtle cheesecake. When they say mile high, they mean it! NO CAP. Chef's kiss ! Pictured below iswhat was left before I tapped out.
