Our family frequents Mucho Mas for many reasons! Their food is always spot on. Despite inflation and cost increases everywhere,... their prices continue to be more than fair and reasonable. Their menu offers something for everyone and comes with very generousportions. But, to top all that off, their customer service is second to none. I stopped in today for lunch with the kids and itwas busy. I was told they were out of something we ordered and that they'd need to make some sort of substitution. Worrying alittle bit due to picky eaters I tried thinking of an alternative. Once our food was brought to us, the lady smiled and saidthey were able to get more of the item that was out so no substitution was needed. I can't tell you how much this wasappreciated! Food is great and comes out fast. This place deserves more customers than it gets. It's minor but the salsa tends to be watery... and not have much flavor. Difficult to make food have the appropriate level of spice - sauces and jalapenos are very hot andfood tends to not be served spicy at all. Would be nice if it were easier to get a more medium amount of kick. Tables aresometimes sticky. Still the food is great and staff friendly. Read more

Staff was very friendly providing suggestions and help with menu. Most importantly, the food was delicious! The surf tacos were... great! My son raved that his burrito was the best that he has had. My wife loved the fajita plate. Read more
I cannot brag on this quaint little place enough! The order taking lady at the counter was super helpful and friendly! She... walked us through the menu as we had never been before. Since it was our first time, she gave us some free chips to taste theirsalsas that were beyond amazing! Their chips are hand made from hand made corn chips. I had the fajita plate and it was morethan I could finish in one sitting. The ambiance is so very relaxing and calm. It certainly isn't a chain and you can tell it isfamily owned and operated. Awesome place, great food, great staff!! - Wow, I have to say, so far this is my favourite spots to eat in Laporte. I really... love to see creative people bring their talents to how they prepare food. I love nothing more than traditional Mexican cuisine,however when you take something traditional and add an artistic flair to it, you get food like the food at Mucho Mas. Therestaurant is a sit down down, but you order your food first. The nachos are very very good, and they have a station where youcan get different sauces and salsa for your nachos. I tried the black bean soup, although thick and heavy for a summer dish itwas very good, and filling. I ordered three different tacos as the funny girl behind the counter suggested. My three were pork,beef and chicken tacos in three different styles. All were exceptional, and my plate also came with beans and rice. You won't gohungry at Mucho Mas!! Visiting our son and his family in laws and ate lunch here! Yum! So good we referred someone else to lunch there after we left!... I orders half size of chicken nachos and there was so much food I ended up giving a portion away! They honored my USAF retiredhubby with a Veterans Day lunch too and our food was superb!
