This place is absolutely amazing. I've been here a good number of times and the place consistently over performs. The food is... great and very fast. The menu is also very large, which you would assume could cause issues with speed and quality--but it doesnot. They also have a little koi fish pond outside that is nice to sit by and take some photos. I think every town has a littlelocally own burger spot and this one is certainly it for La Puente. This is one of the places that I wanted to go to before I even moved to southern California and I finally had the chance this... weekend. It was well worth the wait. My husband ordered the double bacon cheese burger with zucchini fries and I the chickenteriyaki. I wasn't crazy about the sauce, wasn't bad just not my thing. I've been coming here a long time. Before they used to have personal TV screens you could turn on for 25 cents on your... table.Highly recommend to share a teriyaki and beef combo plate with a side of frys. Do not eat there!! I had to return with the food to show them how disgusting the breakfast burrito was, my cheeseburger was... soggy and cold within a 5 minute drive. The burrito drenched in grease, the wrapper was also greasy, bacon inside the burritowas still raw, not crispy. Not sure if because of Covid, but the quality is POOR. I asked for a refund and they refunded mepartial. Despite my inconvenience of having to drive back from Hacienda Heights and bad experience. Also, I noticed as I waswaiting for them to refund me my money they were mopping up floors drenched in water and who knows what around the cooks wherefood is being prepared. I was so disgusted and concerned for germs and food poisoning. Shouldn?t mopping be done at the end ofthe night? These people just don?t have respect for peoples food safety. Never ever going back! This is my favorite burger spot in the area. Local spot we come to during work hours for lunch, the food is amazing never had a problem the year's we have been coming. The... staff is really friendly and the environment is good. The photos around the wall give you things to look at & some even teachyou a thing or two. I recommend this spot to check out & eat, you won't regret it. Read more
