04/01/21 @10:13pm: I entered drive thru, told the app I was here, which then said: Tell us your order code at the speaker: LE21.... When prompted, I told the cashier my order code, but the cashier said they did not have my order code. I asked them if I was atthe right McDonalds and told the cashier the address for my mobile order. The cashier told me I was at the wrong McDonalds formy mobile order, and that 78-962 CA-111, La Quinta is the address of a McDonalds in a Walmart. Turns out that was not true andI?d be led to the wrong McDonalds from the correct McDonalds. However, I still had to pick up the food because it wasn?t forme. So, I request through the app to have my order LE21743448 at 78-962, CA-111 delivered Curbside and reserve Spot 1. At thattime I received a confirmation of purchase at 10:30pm, which said: Thank you for your order, we will bring your food out whenits ready (usually 5 minutes). I wait in the car in Spot 1 till 11pm when I receive a Thank you for visiting - but I don't havemy food. I go to the drive-thru to ask the manager what happened to my order and she said she does not have my order but I canorder again. I told her I was already charged for my food and I just want the food - Im not asking for a freebie. She said shewould have to ring the order on her screen. I ask if she can then ring up the order, comp it, then explain in the report thecircumstances for the comp. She replied she could not do that as a manager and that I would have to pay again, then request tohave my already-purchased order cancelled through the app. I told her I could not cancel the order because the app thinks theydelivered the food to me already, so she advised to call the app?s customer service number to get a refund. I needed to pickupthe food, so I ordered again and paid via card.
