Sever was excellent food was hateful. Was my wife's birthday she had perch, which WAS terrible, I had the 8oz strip steak, 4 oz... of it was grizzle, in fact it's the worst meal we've had in a long time. It's my understanding that the restaurant is under newownership will not go back. Although the turtle soup was about a 9 out of 10 our server was par excellence but the food sucked.Last time I will waste my money at trapper z. Read more

The fish taco were delicious and the country fried steak looked really good. This was my first visit to this restaurant ever. I... had heard the food was good. My only complaint was that there was only one server for this entire place. It was medium busy whenwe arrived, but the dinnertime people were filtering in. We couldn't get our drinks refilled and couldn't get cashed out.Management really needs to get this poor woman some help. Read more

Cool spot with a different menu. If you like frog legs or even turtle soup, check this place out! An unassuming, no frills,... well run restaurant. Locals obviously eat here, which is always a good sign if a place is good or not. I will be back. Read more
Took our charter catch here on a recommendation from our captain. They fried it up along with the best fries I have ever had and... onion rings. Service was excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend. Also their pickle chips are excellent. Read more
Went with friends to try some Michigan perch and walleye. Portions were very generous and dinner comes with choices of sides.... The salad looked delicious. The green beans with bacon were tasty! We enjoyed Key Lime Screwdrivers to top off the meal. Read more
