Took nearly 20 minutes to get an order in. Big letdown was the Pop's Special Sandwich. So mushy it literally fell apart when... trying to eat it, and so intensely salty I couldn't finish it. Wife's crab cake was equally salty, loose, and nearlyunpalatable. I'm all for supporting local business, but this was pretty bad. Hoping this was just a fluke. Read more

Do yourself a favor, pass up Bob Evans, pass up The Cracker Barrel, a mile away is a diamond in the rough that you will be... glad you found. If you blink , you will pass it up, but if it breakfast you want at a price you can afford and be full all day,the Filling Station does not disappoint! The portions are satisfying and the service and the prices are a local hidden jem.Pancakes as big as your head is not a lie, the homemade sausage with just the right amount of sage really brings you back totrue home cooking at its finest. In fact, all the breakfast items you will think mom, herself, is in the kitchen, just as shedid when you were a kid! A absolute must try! Read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Friendly service, and good food! They were not busy but it was picking up before we left. We... could tell from the banter between some diners and server that they have some regulars! Interior is clean, but a little oldlooking with the orange vinyl booths so if you're looking for somewhere fancy, this is not it. If you want tasty food, go on in! Read more

My wife, granddaughter and myself were here on Saturday, August 26 for dinner. I found them on Google Maps, under "places where... the locals like to eat." A great decision to go there for dinner. This is what I call a "Hole in the Wall" restaurant, butdon't let that fool you or put you off. There are no linen napkins on the tables or service on fine china, but I'm sure youwon't be disappointed! We weren't. The staff service is excellent! However, they have such great food with very generousportions and the prices are more than competitive for the dining experience you will receive. I had their Corn Beef Rueben ongrilled marbled rye, with their home made deep fried chips and a cup of their home made Mushroom soup. Campbell's could take alesson from their soup maker! My soup in a glass cup is below. It's a little place with big flavors and superb tastes. Don'tlet the beat up looking furniture fool you, these people know and understand food. They make everything they can in house andonly buy what they can't make. Take a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised! Read more
