Not worth the drive IMO. OK, it's on the lake and the views aren't bad but that is the only thing really going for it. Food is... subpar at best, Denny's or Shoney's is better if that gives you any idea. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Overworked andunderpaid is probably close to the mark. Took forever to get our drinks despite the order being taken almost as soon as we satdown. Forget about a refill, the seasons will probably change before you get one. No tartar or cocktail sauce provided with thecatfish nor offered. Had to use another tables ketchup and salt otherwise it wouldn't have been provided. I had the BLT, how doyou screw that up right?! Well, try putting just one slice of bacon per side. All in all a disappointment, better options inSmyrna even from chain restaurants. The only thing you will miss is Percy Priest Lake...????. Always had good service here. However, today was different. (Once I got service it was fine.) Walked in and 3 staff members... walked gy me several times, not even acknowledging me or telling me we could seat ourselves. So I stood there for about 10 minand finally asked the girl at the counter if I could get a table and that?s when she told me there?s a sign that said ?seatyourself.? (Granted I walked in from the back side of the restaurant and didn?t see the sign, but no one even acknowledged mestanding there which is what upset me.) I go to the patio and there?s tables without chairs and had to borrow one from a tablewhere people were sitting. No biggie but if you?re going to have tables, have chairs. Cute local spot! It's the kind of place where the record skips when you walk in, but everyone was SUPER friendly. I ate there on... 5/29, they seemed under staffed and prioritized the to-go orders. However, the food was delicious! Just be prepared to possiblywait longer than an hour. Read more
