Very nice and quaint Thai restaurant where food is delicious and the decor feels like you are in Thailand. The service is very... fast even though it's just a family place without too many staff. There is extensive choices on the menu, you can be sure tofind something you like. Everything looks good but we really liked the Peanut Pleasure and Sweet&Sour stir fry. Read more

Great atmosphere and staff. Portion size of the garden wraps was way smaller than in the menu picture. They may want to change... that. Solid prices (except on garden wraps, 12.50 for 4 small rolls felt...sad), good flavors. I had the 1.5 spicy and itwasn't spicy at all, so I wonder what happened with some of these other reviews. The duck was dry, which was disappointing. Butthe place is very pretty inside, and the drink names are funny (and sound tasty!) Read more

We recently tried this little gem on our way up to Seattle as it was one of the few Thai restaurants open on a Monday. So... grateful we did! We live in Olympia and while it is 30 minutes from our house it will definitely be our go-to Thai restaurant. The food was excellent and the customer service was fantastic. Spice level was spot on. We started with Thai coffee (hard toimpress but theirs was great!); main fare was pad se ew w/ tofu (just smelling the dish we knew it would be fantastic; noodledoneness was perfect), green curry w/ beef (excellent flavor profile), E-san fried rice (delish), and topped it off with blackrice pudding (SO GOOD!). Heading back today to introduce to my parents! Read more

We come here at least once a week. Sometimes we’re gluttons and come twice in a week. This is our go to spot in Lacey. Yep we... traded in our sushi night for Esan Zap after one visit. The food is really good but the staff are just super humble andnice. Sure if you come during a busy time, you might wait a little bit, but that’s everywhere. They appear to do a huge grubhub turn out so if you’re feeling lazy, just order out but please don’t forget there are some wonderful human beings runningthis restaurant and making your yummy food. P.S. if you’re picky like me, they’re super willing to tweak your meal howeveryou like! AND don’t test their ability to go full send on spicy…???? Read more

We mentioned we need to leave early and the chef made accommodations to get our food ready quickly. We ordered eggplant curry... and hot stuff. Very delicious, and eggplant was cooked and sauced well. Reasonable price and would drop by if we are near. Read more

All of the food is good. But my fav one is cream cheese wonton. The satay is fine. The pad thai is not the best one I think.

As other's have mentioned, the wait for your food is very long. We ended up waiting for our food for about a hour after we... arrived. If this were especially good food or an especially high-class restaurant, I would expect that, but this was neither. Ittasted like pretty much every other thai place I have been to. The drunken noodles had too much of that "Thai spice" that makesfood taste like it was made near the back end of an elephant. I liked my wife's dish, though. She got something with peanutsauce. I'm not sure if it was vegan like my dish, but it tasted good. Read more

We have recently returned from a 3 week stay in Thailand. We were missing the food so we gave Esan Zap a try. So happy we... did. I kept it simple with phad thai with shrimp 2 star heat level. It was so good. The shrimp were plump and fresh. Wealso had the boat soup. It was also excellent. So happy. We will visit often. Sorry we didn't take the picture beforeeating. We didn't think about doing a review until we found it so pleasing. The service was friendly and friendly. Read more
