We ordered pizza tonight and waa scheduled for 430 pick up. I arrived and they couldn't find the pizza so they asked the usual... questions and the manager comes out and said they have been having issues with the phone in pizza. He was honest and upfrontabout the situation which waa really nice. He than had the employees make the 4 pizzas while I waited. His folks jumped andhad a pizza made quickly. I have lived in the Hawks Prairie area of Lacey for over 20 years, and Papa Murphy's is always been my place to go. The thing I... like about this particular location is it there's a lot of young kids working in there starting out fresh with great attitudeand great customer service. I've never had a bad Pizza. I like to be very creative when building my own pizza and they nevereven blink an eye they just throw that darn thing together and it tastes just as wonderful as if it had come from one of theirmenus. Are the good pizzas you USED to make still available? The product has decreased by approx 30% in quantity, and about 40% in... quality, but increased like 25% or more in cost. I've been consistently disappointed with the product from this location thepast four visits. I had hoped it was just what I was ordering, but no. The product has failed in the new year. We ordered a pizza online today (Halloween), and really, I have NEVER seen a staff that was so fine tuned, hard-working, and... friendly than the group at the Hawk's Prairie store. The franchise owner should be so proud of this staff! The store wasincredibly busy, and through it all, the workers were efficient; they maintained their composure; and their attention tocustomer service was impeccable! I watched as the young lady wrapped each pizza (and they were coming FAST), and with eachpizza she handed to a customer, she said "Have a nice evening," "Thank you for your patience," etc. Maybe one of the moreinteresting things was how the workers' friendliness encouraged customers to do the same -- and so there were comments made bythe customers such as "Thank you for doing a good job," "Thank you for your hard work," etc. Being in this store this afternoon-- one that was PACKED with 27 customers at one time -- showed me young people who work hard and care about their customers. I have brought hundreds of pizzas over the last 10 to 12 years from this Papa Murphy?s. In the past my experiences have been... good. Last night I order a pizza using one of their flyers that had their coupons in it. I handed the young men the flyer andhe torn out a different coupon then the pizza I wanted. Which resulted in me going home and baking a pizza and finding out itwasn?t what I wanted. When I called Papa Murphy?s I was told that I could bring back the pizza and exchanged it for the correctone. I wasn?t told that I could bring it back the next day, so I wasn?t willing to drive back down last night. When I calledtoday to talk to the manage about this experience, the one thing that stood out in our conversation was when I was told thatthis Papa Murphy?s is doing quite well and essentially doesn?t needed my business. I understand mistake happen and this wasonly a pizza, but since my business is not needed I am willing to go some place that will also bake my pizza and charge me lessfor it. Read more
