The only reason The Rock in Lacey, WA gets one star is because the food is great, but when the customer service/service is... garbage, the taste of the food is moot. We’ve been to the Lacey branch multiple times over the last couple of years, andit’s always the same…food is great, but it takes forever to get seated (even when the place is not busy or empty), it takes10-15 minutes for a server to even talk to you (typically it’s “Be with you in a minute” as they’re walking by), thenanother five minutes to get a water/drink. I understand places having staffing issues, but talk with the customer! Let them knowwhat’s going on! How much effort does it take to get two waters/drinks?!? Some chips while we wait?!? Customer service is adying art that The Rock is a part of. If you choose to go, it’s good food, but good luck with the service! Read more

My husband and I went for lunch here. I’m gluten-free he is not however he does eat gluten-free pizza for me if we find a good... gluten-free pizza. We asked our waitress if it was good gluten-free pizza and she said yes it was. That was an incorrectstatement the pizza crust is not made on site and it’s a frozen Does it taste like stale tortillas stacked together. If youare gluten-free The pizza here is not an option. The barbecue chop salad was fabulous we shared that and loved it. The wingswere undercooked and the bones were broken and sticking out of them which was a turn off at first sight but also did not tastegreat. We ordered an appetizer a salad and a 9 inch pizza to share our pizza came out first and the hot wings and then thesalad. The salad was warm when it came to the table I get it it’s sitting. Also the pizza was undercooked crust and enter notvery hot when we went to eat it after we had our appetizer and salad so the timing could’ve been better on the food delivery .My husband and I don’t actually complain at restaurants we pride ourselves in complementing restaurants about the positivethings because we know that restaurants get a lot of negative feedback .The reason I give this restaurant a two star is becausewhen my husband went to pay he asked to speak to the manager just so he could let the manager know what was happening being in aposition of management at his own work he feels it’s important when his employees are not working to the best of their abilityand their products are subpar and attention to detail is not given . We have full intention on paying for entire meal and justletting them know areas that could be fixed and the manager graciously took off a portion of the bill which we thanked him forbut did not intend and was not our reason for giving this information. Hopefully this helps someone else not have bad pizzathat’s gluten-free and the restaurant changes some of their procedures and quality control. Read more

Generally I’ve never had an issue with take out from The Rock Wood. Today was a different story. I ordered my go-to ‘My... Sharona’ calzones for me and my fiancé and it was just awful. Extremely burnt crust and lack of filling (chicken, pepperoni, ricotta, etc) inside. The children’s mac and cheese was just okay. For a bill over $50 I expected better… What’s reallyshocking to me is that the cook who prepared our food saw how burnt it was and just didn’t care enough to remake the order orlet alone put any effort into preparing our food. Incredibly disappointed I wasted my money today. Don’t think I’ll be back. Read more

Ordered the Crazy Train pizza to-go, it was ready at the promised time so that was great! Also, the flavors are spot on if you... don’t mind a little spicy flavor profiles on your pizza. You can also get adult beverages to-go. Read more

It’s an impressive place, I like the design inside, the crews are so kind and smiling all the time. The food is really tasty... and delicious, I took a chicken broccoli pasta, the portion was not bad, and the price is on the average too. Nice place to eatin. Read more

Cool atmosphere. Pizza is barely decent but the crust is the only GOOD part. Very unseasoned, undercooked, see pics. It's... overall not great. Drinks are way pricey and weak. Paid 8.50 for chips and queso, got served like 14 chips. Not coming back, probably. Waste of $80 bucks before a tip. Night out with my daughters kind of meh. Read more

My gf and I went to the Lacey location to celebrate National Burger Day. Yes, they're known for their pizza, but their burgers... are pretty good too! I also had a birthday coupon for a free cookie skillet so why not? We started out with the Queso and Chips, the dip was delicious! We weren't that hungry so we shared an order of The Burger Man! It was cooked just right and the portionwas just enough for both of us to finish and still able to have dessert. My birthday cookie skillet was the perfect ending to agreat meal. Our server was great and attentive to our needs, thank you. Read more
