Atmosphere: 2/2 Stars Food: 1/2 Stars Staff: 1/1 Stars SUMMARY: My wife and I were staying at the Lake Opechee Inn over the... weekend and were excited to check out the Restaurant onsite. We were very pleased with the gorgeous atmosphere and with thestaff. Our waitress, Nora, was wonderful. The food overall was good. I will discuss further below why we decided to give 1 of 2stars for the food. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend anyone in the area to trythis restaurant! ATMOSPHERE: Scenic placement next to a beautiful lake. The yellow dimmed lighting made this restaurant feel socomfortable. We had a booth near a window looking out to the lake. The seating was very comfortable, the restaurant was spaciousand the ambiance was peaceful. The large chandeliers hanging throughout were very pretty and the string lights hanging over thebar area along with the strong wood decor, gave it all a nice rustic feel. The outdoor portion was lined with heat lamps whichallowed for a nice view even during the colder nights. FOOD: - Appetizers: Seasonal Scallops & Bacon, The Chips with Bacon -Salads: Classic Caesar, Roasted Tomato & Ricotta - Entrees: Salmon, Steak House Tips We were first given some warm bread withbutter which was delicious. The appetizers came out and we both loved the scallops and bacon! We highly recommend if visitinghere. The in-house chips were also very tasty. They retained their crisp even when covered with the Blue Cheese Sauce. TheCaesar salad came as promised, Classic. It hit the mark with the fresh greens and crunchy croutons. I was feeling something newwhich is why I chose the Roasted Tomato & Ricotta. Overall the presentation and creative efforts were appreciated. However, Ipersonally was not the biggest fan for two reasons. 1. The ricotta seemed to be a bit overwhelming when mixed in, 2. The flavorsmay have been better tied together with a caramelized nut of some sort. This is only my personal Read more

Nice lake view. Our waitress is very tentative. One of our order is a tomahawk pork chop which takes a little longer. She came... to check on us and make sure we don’t feel left behind. The dry aged tomahawk pork chop was cooked to the perfect middle Irequested. It was very juicy. Another of our dish was the special of the day, blacken crusted halibut. The fish was so smooth.Melted in the mouth. The meatloaf on the other hand was ok only. The sauce was told a Sriracha mixed sauce when we ordered, butit just tasted like regular ketchup to us. Got my daughter so excited, the little disappointed. She was expecting the kick. taste. Read more

Love this place! Scenery is beautiful. My appetizer Oysters Rockefeller was really good and dried age Tomahawk with Brussels... Sprout was awesome also. I did order it medium rare so the nearly bone part still pink and had uncooked fat. But it was alrightbecause it tasted good. I will absolutely go back and order well done one. :) PS. I appreciated the staff ladies at the bar. Youare Rock! Read more

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Everything you get is incredible and will blow your mind. The entrees are far better... than the appetizers, don’t be deceived. Fair number of gluten free options - none were marked but both our servers have beenvery knowledgeable about the options. Plus, gluten free lava cake dessert! I got the salmon with cauliflower risotto onenight, and the rack of lamb special another. Two of the best dinners I’ve had, always leaving you blown away. Don’t listento the haters, get your stuff medium or medium-well rather than medium rare- that’s just my hot take. Read more
