I would like to thank one of the cooks and the Manager (owner) for helping me one night last week. I had driven up from Cobble... Hill with my electric car. I stopped in Duncan as planned and the charger I needed to use was out of order. I proceeded to tryto drive home to Nanaimo with very little battery. I was forced to pull off the hwy at this restaurant at 9pm. I was desperateto use an outdoor outlet to charge my battery so I could get home safety. I was on the verge of tears when I pulled in being asingle woman alone in the dark. Although it was not a public charging station tI am grateful they allowed me to charge up thatnight behind their restaurant. I?m forever grateful to helping me get home that night ???????????? Food was decent, prices ok. The staff were all miserable. 2 servers never cracked a smile, not friendly until it was time to... pay/tip then slightly friendly. A woman came out of the kitchen, was miserable and eye rolling at the waitress. The room/decorare ok. Probably won't race back Read more

My family and I had a lovely dinner here this past weekend, we were staying at a hotel near by and was told to check this place... out - glad we did! Great food, great service and when we left.. our kids were excited about the tractors to sit on/pretend playwith, and we noticed their ice cream store with tons of picnic tables available outside and a campfire area... we willdefinitely be stopping by again this summer! A pleasant environment. Indoor or patio seating. Food is above average. Presentation is good with large portions. Fair pricing.
Lovely big open space with high ceilings and rustic decor. Staff is very friendly and service is quick! Had the skillet which... was filling and full of flavor. My brothers got Benedict's and asked for med poached eggs but they were hard. Overall greatbrunch. Read more
Have stopped here many times for lunch and dinner. Great food, friendly staff. Prices have certainly increased recently but... hasn't everything in this world? Highly recommended. Read more
