A great experience on the drink and the food. We had the scotch egg?.ginormous and delicious!!!! The in house made pies were... excellent. I had the steak and kidney pie and opted for mashed instead of salad. The pastry top was so light and fluffy. Mypartner in dine had the shepherds pie, and it was 2 ???????? up. Another table ordered the seafood pie and pacific rock fishdinners and the portions were very substantial. Only downside was the service, it started off great but I think there was achangeover in shifts. From there we had to grab someone?s attention for drink refills and eventually for the bill. Oh well. Went for lunch with my Dad. He had the steak and kidney pie, with sweet potato fries. I had the bangers and mash with mushy... peas. Everything was delicious. The beer was frothy and cold, the service was exceptional. Really nice atmosphere. Highlyrecommend. Read more
Another really great experience here the second time around. Burgers were big, beef dip was spot on, fries were hot and yummy... and beer keep coming. Servers were also very attentive. It's worth the stop for sure. Read more
Stepped in for late dinner, from the outside you wouldn't really get what this place feels like. Beer was good, food was good.... Service was good. Feels was awesome. Definitely felt like we stepped into an English bar. If we stay here again in Ladysmith Iwill stop by for sure Read more
We had dinner at this wonderful English style pub restaurant in Ladysmith called the Fox and Hound. Robin had a very generously... portioned and yummy seafood salad and I had a grilled chicken breast with some amazing mushroom sauce with perfectly doneasparagus and mashed potatoes. I even had an amazing toffee pudding desert. I recommend this place highly and will certainly beback. Read more
English pub design and fare. We were greeted by friendly staff, they even had Innis and Gunn on tap!! I had the chicken, bacon... and brie burger with fries, delicious. My wife had the beef dip and fries, was very good, she couldn?t even eat half! The pub isa very cool place and we will be sure to return next time we are in Ladysmith. Read more
