We were looking for a brunch place on the way up island from Victoria and I was thrilled to stumble upon Plantitude. What a... great find! The space is clean and fresh and bright and the patio looks inviting and private. The menu is very impressive andthere are so many items I want to try. We ordered 2 brunch items and split them so we could try both. They were beautifullypresented and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owner was lovely. BEST FOOD ON THE ISLAND. Plant based or not, this restaurant is the BEST. I live over an hour away but always head that way if... I'm eating out. The menu is fantastic; varied, relatable, and has items we haven't been able to have anywhere else. I have neverhad anything there that I didn't like; and I'm pretty sure I have tried everything on the menu because I go there sooften! Great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating. Staff are always lovely. Desserts are delish too! Karen has created abeautiful restaurant that has something for everyone. We have taken non-vegans here many times for both Brunch and Dinner andthey rave about the Plantitude Benny, potato skins, burgers, and risotto. I cannot recommend Plantitude enough! We were travelling from Campbell River and were looking for a late lunch/dinner spot so we decided to try this place out and boy... it did not disappoint! There were tons of options on the menu, we didn't know what to pick! The food was so delicious that weended up talking about it for the whole day! Plantitude is my family's favorite restaurant! The food is excellent and super delicious. The grilled veggie panini on their... brunch menu is always my top pick and their home made soups are fantastic! The service is wonderful and the owner is incrediblykind and thoughtful. Absolutely delicious. Had the butter chickn and "eggs" benny, as well as the mimosa mocktail, and everything was just to die... for. Service was fast and friendly. Ended up buying a bunch of baked goods on my way out, and those were all delicious, too!I'm a celiac vegan and there was so much for me to eat there. I have zero complaints. Lovely resto, all vegan! We will be back :) The spinach artichoke dip was great. We also ordered the butter chicken, Plantitude... benny, and sassy monkey dessert! The butter chicken wasn't very buttery; more like a healthy stir fry version, with lots oftomato. Still yummy! Just not creamy or very rich. The corn chips that came with the artichoke dip were a little stale, but thebread was good. The Benny was delish! Would definitely order again. Didn't need the fruit cup though, as it didn't look superfresh. Sassy monkey dessert was delicious, but I wish they'd do a full fat vegan ice cream, not just banana ice cream. I'veeaten enough banana ice cream in my raw vegan days ???? Super friendly and helpful staff. Not very busy on a rainy Saturdayafternoon. Awesome bathroom, and they also have a little "store" area on shelves where you can buy vegan marshmallows,chocolate, soy curls, hot sauce, etc. ???? Thank you! Read more
We read about this place online back home and wanted to check it out while we were on the island. It was so worth the drive. The... appetizer flat bread was incredible. Portion sizes are very generous and my only regret is so didn?t have room for dessert. Read more
We dine in at Plantitude several times per year and enjoy their takeout as well. For our wedding anniversary earlier this year... we reserved one of the Bubbles on their patio and even though it was February we were toasty warm with their heaters. But it'sthe food that deserves 5 stars. We ordered the Taste Plantitude. What a feast it was! The flavours and presentation werespectacular. You must try it! We feel so blessed to have this delightful vegan restaurant in our town. Vegan or not everyonewill enjoy their impressive food.
