The food was good. We enjoyed every single dish there BUT the problem was there service, it was horrible. That girl was doing... okay but she was about to end her shift and i think that makes her feel less interested. We had to ask for napkins for like morethan 6 times and she gave it after the payment. Came from the mainland to stay in Ladysmith for a few nights, gave this place a shot and I am definitely not disappointed, the... portions are great, the food is top shelf, a lot better then the million Indian places on the mainland, you can tell the chefstake pride in their recipes, asked for spicy and it was actually spicy, the servers are very good at their jobs as well, overalla very well run restaurant with excellent service and excellent food. Food is okay. But they only have 1 server most of the time, and 1 person can only do much on a busy Saturday. This just... increases the wait time and stress one person serving 10 tables while working in kitchen answering phone calls and doing pickuporders. MANAGEMENT DO BETTER Read more

We had a fabulous lunch here. Some of the best Indian I've had in years. Richly spiced and when I asked for it hot, I got it. My... wife's medium was perfect. I cleaned my dish with Naan. It was that good. The view was a great bonus and service was attentiveand friendly. Read more

I am super impressed! To begin with Lisa and Shivam went out of there way to serve us chai tea. They did not receive the... delivery so were out of milk but they offered to go and buy some special milk only for us. I could not believe that someonecould went so up and beyond to accommodate clients. Not to mention the food was great. Every bite was full of flavour. Their curries are awesome, especially if you get it a bit more hot. The service however is really lacking, the manager (I think)... really seems like she doesn?t want to be there and is always miserable. We get take out now. Win win ;) Read more

Best Indian Restaurant on Vancouver Island. Must try lamb masala & karahi paneer. They also have good spice hut combo specials.
