When my friend said we were going here, I was like why are we going to this place in the middle of nowhere ( it's not in town or... anything), but it was great. Service was excellent. We sat on the very sunny patio. I had the wings, based on a solidrecommendation, and they were, simply put, amazing. Crispy and meaty. Best wings on the Island. My wife had a chickenquesadilla and it had huge chunks of chicken and copious amounts of cheese. Our friends had the soup which they raced about. The pub was fully stocked as well. Best curry I've ever had! Normally would avoid curry in a pub like this but the waitress mentioned the chef is from India and... grinds up her own spice mixes so how could we not give it a try. We had all 3 curries and they were all unreal. Read more

After we did a hike in the hills behind the pub, it was time to rehydrate and we were hungry to. For an appetizer we had the... pakoras, they were delicious and authentic. For my early dinner I had the Halibut & Chips. Again, I wasn't disappointed.Generous sized pieces of Halibut with an ample amount of fries. Both were served hot and fresh. As for our waitress, she didn'tlet our glasses run empty. Her timing on coming to our table to see how everything was or if we needed anything was perfect. **update It's been a year since the initial review. Me and my partner still enjoy coming to our neighborhood pub. They always... have a daily special and this time ordered wings with caesar salad for $15.95, pretty decent ???? It was nice to go out anddine inside a restaurant for a change. I didn't order anything fancy, just a quesadilla and soup. Soup was bacon cheddar,sounds weird, but was actually really delicious ???? My partner ordered oysters and fries, it looked plain, but he enjoyed itjust the same. Most dishes come with soup, fries or salad, which is nice to have choices. Service was quick, considering it wasthe first weekend of indoor dining. Read more
