Extremely Overpriced for Mediocre food! Never in my life have I ever seen such a small amount of food in the dinner for two.... Extremely tiny sweet and sour pork portion, maybe 12 small pieces and drowning in sauce. 8 tiny dried up chicken wings and abland underfilled portion of chow mein. Also includes some soggy wantons. Extremely disappointed in the quality and quantity ofthe food. First time, and last time, Never go back. I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has four stars. Terrible. The chow mein was burnt around the edges. The container was not full it looked like they took the last of what was in... the pan and put it in the container. It was also cold. The sweet & sour pork tasted like leather I have no idea what kind ofmeat it was? It had bright red sauce over it. It went in the garbage as we could not eat it. I cannot believe we paid thirtydollars for it. We will definely not be going there again. Read more
This is some of the best Chinese Take Out I have had after growing up in Toronto; and living in Montreal, Calgary, and now the... Nanaimo Hub as an adult. The owners are very sweet and kind and their restaurant is SPOTLESS CLEAN and super cute. Read more
Had the Pho Tai. A light beefy broth. None of the regular Pho spices. :/ lots of thin cut beef, lots. And lots of bean sprouts.... It adds an extra crunch. Read more
The Wigwam has been in Ladysmith for years. From what I saw it's a very popular place for take out and the buffet. Our salad... rolls were quite nice with crab and shrimp. I liked the soup spoon provided ensuring that all the tasty sauce wasn't wasted.Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was very average Canadian Chinese food. Read more
