Absolute neighborhood gem tucked away in an unexpected nook of Lafayette. From the moment you walk up, the ambience and Italian... coastal touches are warm inviting and as if welcoming you on vacation. The food is even more delightful - every dishthoughtfully prepared and unpretentious, and so full of flavor. The flatbread pizzas are a favorite of the kids, and I have yetto try a pasta dish I didn't enjoy. The specials are worth exploring - seafood risotto might be one of the best I've ever had!Great for date night. Read more
Food is amazing, staff is friendly and manager is attentive. My only complaint is that it takes awhile to get a refill! Staff... walks by and see that my glass is empty and no one comes over. That is very frustrating, avg wait time for a refill is 5 to 10minutes. However, I will say, today we had lunch there and RICARDO was awesome. First staff member that quickly walked over whenhe saw my glass was empty and in general was very attentive. We had a great dining experience. His customer service really stoodout!! Read more

We had a lovely visit to this Italian Eatery. The open air seating was very nice and we were able to linger over our meal. The... homemade fetuchini noodles with a house made veal and beef bolognese was outstanding! Their house bread and dipping oil hasgreat smoky flavor to it! The beet salad was delicious! The Lemonciello Marscapone Cake was perfect dessert foil to the pastameal: refreshing, creamy and not overly sweet. Even with all that, it was still the waitstaff that won my heart! Waitstaff isactually brought in from Italy and they were adorable, with perfect serving rhythms that showed respect and care! This placetruly wants you to enjoy and savor the glorious food, just as if you were at someone’s private home surround by a largeItalian family serving a 12 course meal! We will be back! Enjoy! I went here earlier tonight with my family for the first time, and the food was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had.... Plus our server (I wish I could remember her name, but she was a tall girl with brown hair in a bun and a striped shirt) wasabsolutely amazing, like seriously the best server I’ve had in quite awhile. All you had to do was make eye contact with herfrom across the room and she instantly came over to see how she could help. It was my dads birthday and she made sure to bringout a desert for him and have the staff sing- my entire family was veryyy pleased with our whole dinning experience! Read more

Locanda Positano has the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor makes you feel like... you’re in Italy. Our waitress, Giulia (not sure of the correct spelling, sorry!), was amazing. I tried the lasagna, Caesarsalad, cannolo, and fritto misto. Breading on the fritto misto was well-seasoned and the lasagna was delicious. The lasagnaportion was huge and I was surprised I was able to eat it all. I will definitely return! Read more
