Big fan of the Long John Silver part. I did not like the A&W portion. Chili Cheese dog seemed old and was missing the cheese and... my fries were cold, however my onion rings were fantastic. My husband was thrilled with the Double Bacon Cheeseburger andfries though! Read more
Although the food was good as usual, the staff didn't attend to cleaning the tables or benches. I saw no disinfecting happening... at all. If I or my mom gets the virus, we will know where it came from. Because we have both stayed inside all month. And thegirl that says what number is up,yells it so loud that it makes you jump. For the first time they have a manager that is not busy talking down to the staff. Food was good and wasn't dripping with... grease. Root beer float was creamy . Will return again. Read more
Normally I don't write reviews at restaurants, but this felt like an exception to my usual way of going about handling poor... service. I had gone through the drive-thru and ordered an A6 - Double Cheeseburger meal and double fry, and went through andgot my meal, but by the time we had pulled out of the lot, I looked at my meal and it was chicken tenders, fries and puppies. Nobig deal, but I wanted what I ordered and kindly/calmly asked for what I ordered. Again, I didn't care that much, so I had justtold them I understand mistakes happen. The cashier at the front as well as a nicer middle-aged man kindly asked the back tomake me a burger like I had asked for and told me to keep my food. But this young lady with a blue shirt and braids who hadoriginally took my order at the window lost her cool and began yelling at her co-workers right in front of me, yelling "THEYORDERED A NUMBER 6. THAT'S CHICKEN TENDERS. A NUMBER 6! IF I ASK YOU WHAT YOU ORDER AND YOU SAY YES BACK THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW!"knowing I could hear her. I would have clarified that she didn't ask when I was ordering if I wanted chicken tenders, she justsaid, "A6?". The rest of the staff seemed baffled at her actions. Another nice young lady asked me to ignore her and if Iwanted a free drink or pie for my poor experience. I declined, telling her it was okay and that I just wanted my sandwich. Icontinued to get some glares from the young lady who had been throwing a fit, but I really just wanted what I had ordered. Idon't think I'd take my child or wife to this place. I feel like that was unwarranted, and I probably won't return. Just puttingthis on here to make others aware. I'm not seeking action from management against the young lady. Read more
The drive-thru setup is strange, but it works. The service from the employee at the window was excellent. The food came out very... slow; had there been a line this would have taken forever. Excellent root beer, as always. Read more
Very good food and superb service. Too bad the building and grounds are not as nice.
Always a great place for seafood, friendly service & of course A&W Root beer!
