I stopped in at this location about a month ago or so. Went to the kiosk and ordered 4 salads 2 LG pepperoni and sausage pizza's... and a small cheese pizza. Oh forgot to say I was on lunch break from the nursing home I work at to order all of the nursessupper. The guy takes the order and said give us 20 mins. I stand back from the pick up side a lil ways and watch the gentlemanas he starts to prep my pizzas. He did not wash his hands nor did he put on gloves. He the starts spreading the dough with hishands. The phone rings he stops rolling the dough goes and answers the phone. Ends the phone call and goes right back to rollingthe dough for my pizza and does not wash his hands again nor does he put on gloves. He then puts on the sauce with the ladle andstarts putting on the cheese. Mind you he did not use gloves not did he wash his hands. He then digs them into the cheesecontainer that goes on everyones pizza even yours! He then runs out so he gets a new bag of cheese opens it throws the bag inthe trash. A piece of the bag falls to the floor he picked it up and smashed it down into the trash can with both hands causethe can was very full. He the turns and scoops the pepperoni out the meat pan with his bare hands and continued to do the samewith the sausage. Oh and i forgot he didnt wash his hands after smashing the trash into the can with his bare hands. Oh therewas also 1 other employee who was working with him. She made my salads. She washed her hands before and after making my salads.She also put on gloves while naking my food. She was awesome!! She walked out of the kiosk and I stopped her and said I'm sorrybut can u tell me why is he not wearing gloves? Can you tell me why he didn't wash his hands after the phone call? Or the trashcan? She said no ewww thats gross. She said i always wear gloves. I said I'm sorry but I'm not taking that pizza. I work inhealth care and with the elderly. We are in from out of town and came across Arni's. We forgot to bring plates and napkins. My wife added a note to our order that... asked for them (if they were available) and we were surprised with a bag full of them. That meant a lot to us! I was pleasantlysurprised by the pizza. We ordered pepperoni and sausage. There was no grease or oil! The bottom of the crust was drier than ameat pizza usually is. The pizza was thin, softer and tasty. It was full of toppings. Best known for their delicious pizza and salads, but with an excellent variety of great food at reasonable prices. Arni's is a... local icon with the appropriate slogan: "Meet you at Arni's!" Popular for meetings, celebrations, and family get-togethers. Oneof those places former residents must visit when they're in town. Read more
Arni's is a pizza place that those that grew up in the area seem to love. The pizza is okay as is their subs, but it's not my... typical go-to place. Prices are in line for what you get, I just don't have the love for Arni's that some do (probably because Ididn't grow up around here). All-in-all, it's a fairly good place to grab a quick bite. Always a treat to eat here with so many delicious items on the menu. I almost got a stromboli, one of my fave sandwiches of... theirs, until I spotted the Windsor (ham & turkey on Texas toast topped with cheddar cheese sauce and chopped green onions) so Igot that instead and wasn't disappointed at all. It had been years since I had one and forgot how good it is. A cup of chickendumplings soup and an Arni's Jr rounded out the meal. Staff is always friendly and the kid friendly seating area has a lot tolook at with old and current pics of Lafayette and West Lafayette on the walls. Always good food! Think crust, crispy pizza. Fresh toppings. Original BBQ pizza is my favorite. Texas BBQ sandwich and Hot Ham &... Cheese sandwich are delicious. Arni's Jr Salad is the best! Their garlic bread is awesome. Always have great service. Read more
No just no this is NOT italian pizza pie, Their pizza looka of something that you can buy for 1$ at walmart if you want real... Italian Pizza do monicals instead you get what you pay for and will give you your moneys worht at monicals. Read more
