I normally do not like leaving bad reviews or commenting on food quality. But this is a restaurant and the food costed... money... I have never tasted such tasteless greasy food. The Salsa was watered-down-can tomato juice with huge canned tomatochunks . tamales were terrible. The steak quesadilla were just melted cheese with oily scrapes of "steak" shreds. Even the frieswere bad. Over cooked/burned and tasted like old oil. For $50 i could of gotten a bucket of chicken or taco bell... i understandwith prices going up some restaurants are cutting corners... but this is not the way to go. *I have eaten at mexican restaurantsin el paso and it was divine. Never been so disappointed in my life. I could of went to the grocery and bought a TV dinner, stomped on it, ate it and threw... it back up and it would of been better than this!! Service was good. Food was horrendous ???? Read more

This place used to be awesome. I don't know if it's recently been sold or just completely new management. We ordered take out... for 3 adults, we waited over a hour. They did comp the dinner which was nice of them. We won't be back, now you have to pay forchips and salsa, they changed some good brands of mixes for mixed drinks to some cheaper nasty tasting brand. The only reason this restaurant is getting 3 stars is because of the wonderful service by Mitchell. The food was not good, there... was no ranchera sauce except for maybe a teaspoon on top, the girl running the food was incredibly rude because the taco shellswere brought soft instead of crunchy and told us that?s what we were getting. My kids won?t even eat soft shells. Mitchell madethat moment right and never lost any of his professionalism and stayed very wonderful. If it weren?t for his service we wouldhave rated -5 stars if possible. Thank you Mitchell for making not so great food enjoyable with a pleasant visit. Read more
Haven't been here in years. Just never thought it was as good as others in town. Stopped in Sunday about 3pm because we were at... the mall. Sat in the bar. Everything was great. Server was fun and efficient. Drinks were delicious. Food was better than Iremembered. The decor is nicer than most Mexican in Lafayette. Pleasant surprise. Will put it back on the list of restaurants wefrequent. Recommended. Read more
I love Pepe?s, it?s been a favorite of mine for a long time. The salsa is great, the chips are warm, the spicy veggies are... amazing, and the meals taste great. I?d be inclined to give them 5 stars but the service has been steadily declining for sometime. I hope they can get it in gear soon so they?re back to 5-star caliber. Read more
