We were out of town when we visited this facility. It was a little culture shock because they had no Waite staff. I was a steak 'n shake regular for quite a while, but my local steak 'n shake closed down during COVID. It was nice to get back... to one. The new Burger packaging for to go orders is clean and super convenient. The burger itself was as good if not betterthan I remember. My only minor complaint is that the chili was a little more watery than I recall. Otherwise they're doinggreat! Read more
We'd been on the road for 14 hours driving from Atlanta, GA, so we thought we'd slake our hunger with some burgers and shakes... for the long road ahead. We've eaten at Shake N Steak local to us tons of times and I've never had an experience like thisbefore, which is what prompted me to be a Karen and comment and review. When we arrived there weren't many folks in the store,yet the tables were dirty and the two of the order kiosks were broken. They also had a posted notice saying that they were outof tomato and garlic sauce. No big deal, we can order stuff without those things. So we order a hot dog for our daughter andthey're also out of hot dog buns. That was kind of a bummer. Then we never got our 3 shakes, so I asked the person at the grillabout it and he asked another employee. The other employee was a little terse with me, saying that the order never appeared onher screen so she didn't know about it. I get it, technical difficulties happen all the time; I just don't understand where theterseness came from? After the miscommunication she brought our shakes out quickly and thanked us. Overall the food was fineand the shakes were good. But the overall experience was just ok for to the store being out of things and the attitude of one ofthe employees. Read more
Worst Steak & shake experience EVER!!! They make you order on a kiosk upon entering and give you your food COMPLETELY... unprepared!! We were given two burgers with absolutely nothing on them but cheese! And after going to the counter, I was givenNO apology or concern that my food literally was not prepared! Just gave me a tray with everything on the side. Had to build myown burger! Completely unacceptable and upsetting!!! Would NOT Recommend!!! Read more
They just opened up the dining room. They've switched to kiosk ordering, which is reasonably convenient. However, it's... generally still understaffed, so it took a long time to get food. Even worse, the order was wrong in multiple respects. Theycorrected the problems, but it is more than should be. Another guest before us had completely uncooked patties. I don't thinkthey are ready to have the dining room open yet. Read more
The dining room is still closed at this location. The service at the drive thru was quick and friendly. I got a kids meal. My... burger had onions on it when I only wanted mustard, ketchup and pickles. There was no kids meal box or toy. Basically it?s anadult meal with a small drink. I imagine if I had ordered this meal for an actual child there would have been lots moredisappointment. Read more

The new order at the kiosk, pay at the kiosk and wait 20 minutes for your food is less than ideal, but the food is still good... and a decent value. This particular one was understaffed, although they did well under the circumstances. Read more
